The Japanese Garden is one of the nicest areas of the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens. It is multilevel, has pagodas, ponds with koi, beautiful scenery.Right now, there is also several exhibits of statues depicting life scenes. In the Japanese Garden, there is a statue of Monet painting the scene before him.

Some of it was shut down for whatever reason. I enjoy going but if they start charging it will not be worth it at all

The lights show in the winter time is not to be missed! Come to see spectacular installations, that were obviously made with time and care. The Japanese garden is fantastic in any season.

Beautiful garden runned by a volunteer society. It could use a bit more keeping, we came I. The winter, so dead needles were everywhere. The water is a bit green. But you can tell the folks to volunteer to keep the garden care and I appreciate their hard work!

‘Reimagine’, a once beautiful Japanese garden, with tranquil fall colors reflecting off the still water ponds and turning it into a disturbing sight of man-made garbage. And to think I paid 28 dollars for me and my wife to see this mess. If I would have known it was going to look like this, I would have stayed home and saved my money. What a disappointment!

This was absolutely beautiful. I had no idea something so amazing could be in North Texas. The architecture combined with the diverse plant life and animals is absolutely crazy. It didn’t feel like I was in Texas. Im not sure if it normally costs money, but we just drove in and parked and started walking. We didn’t see any place to pay, but there was also an event going on so something probably happened. I could not recommend this place enough. Definitely worth checking out if your in the area or even if you’re not and want to make a trip out to Fort Worth.

It's a place where you can slow down, relax, and find a moment of tranquility amidst the chaos of the world. Don't miss this serene haven when you're in town.

Came here for our first time since residing in Texas about almost 6 years now. The Spring Festival event in April what made us interested. I’ve seen other Japanese gardens but by far this place has to be my favorite. Pictures won’t do any justice you just have to experience it in person. I love how there’s ( secret exit path ) at the end of our visit we wanted to go through the bamboo trees and it led us right to the vendors for the event.Such a beautiful peaceful garden, we will definitely be back.
