Great and comfortable environment with very insightful advice and help on a personal but professional level. Mrs Ronda wasn't only accurate about my taxes but also went above and beyond to help me understand the tax preparation and process. While she also took the time to give me great advice for my financial future on how to better my future tax filing.

I was not aware that I could be more frustrated than when I used TurboTax last year. We had a Mrs. Ethelene Lacey as our tax expert. I am understanding to people's differing levels of education. However, our representative made several mistakes inputting our forms, which we had to correct with her several times before she understood what we were saying. She also could not spell "carpenter," "coordinator," or most concerning, "medicaid." Again, I am understanding, but for having worked "with 7 years experience" as a tax professional, I was not confident with her skill as a tax professional after those mistakes. It also took an hour and 45 minutes to complete our appointment, a disappointing length as our infant child got hungry and fussy by the end, preventing me from bringing my complaints to a manager.Finally, we were assured we would receive an itemized receipt for our $300 charge (significantly more than we expected to pay) by Mrs. Lacey, but they were not able to provide that at the front. We were told to "check the website" to see what the charges were for.Overall, I will refuse to use an H&R Block location again in the future, if this is the quality of employee they hire to handle our finances. I may return to formalize my complaints, but that will depend if I have the energy to devote to such a pointless activity today.

Last time going to H&R block. Got way better results with other tax pros. Came in to H&R and got a careless woman who barley knew what she was doing.
