We've been eating at various Grimaldi's for over 20 years including the original one in Brooklyn. It is hands down the best authentic New York style pizza. The Fort Worth location does not disappoint; great food and service. We had an issue recently and the manager Richard was so gracious and fixed the problem immediately. They really care about doing things right and I highly recommend them.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! We showed up here at 7:30 PM just trying to eat dinner and we were turned away because “the pizza ovens were restarting.” Instead of telling us there would just be a delay in getting pizzas going again, they told us they weren’t accepting anyone else. That didn’t sit well with us, so we tried to call and place an online order just to be told we could place an order! LIARS and a TERRIBLE business!

Went two weeks ago, not from New York and one of the best pizzas I have had in Texas. Just me and my husband and we were told there was a 20 to 30 minute wait when there were plenty of tables open. We waited and when we were called we were sat in the corner in a two person booth. The whole time there other 2 people guests were sat at the open tables.( that were open when we were told we had to wait) Took about 30 minutes before anyone took our order, Our order was taken for our drinks, then took another 10 minutes for our server to come back to take our order for our food. Once our order was taken, my husband had to go to the bar to order another drink because our waiter was nowhere to be found. After waiting an hour for our pizza, a manager came and told us they apologize our ticket was lost and our pizza will be out soon. They did offer to comp our pizza, but we declined and they comped us two drinks. We tried to go again today and plenty of tables open again and we had a party at five we were told 20 to 30 minute wait. We were put on the waitlist then about 25 minutes later I get a phone call and say their oven is down, and it would be about two hours before they could start making pizzas again. We love the pizza, but not the service.

Got there at 7:57 placed our order about 8:06pm. An hour pass by still no pizza. Waitress then notified us that apparently our pizza was made twice but was given to other tables. Umm okay no that’s not okay, we decided to leave. Wasted a whole hour just to not eat, then have to go find somewhere else to eat this late at night. When we have to be up at 5am for work. I will not recommend this place anymore.

They were not busy when we went for lunch. There were 2 other tables with customers. Our small order of one pizza and a salad took over 45 minutes to come out. The food was okay, but definitely not worth the wait.

They don't know how to handle it when the restaurant is full. I ordered a salad from home, I got there 20 mins later, and they made me wait for the salad another 30 minsDo you think it is okay to have somebody wait 50 mins for a salad? The salad had to be ready when I got to the restaurant.Imagine if I ordered a pizza, I would have to go the next day to pick it up.I had to ask the manager to get me the salad, and she did it in 4 mins

Me and family had lunch here today. We got our seat right away. The food waiting time was a little bit long but the waitress did tell us cause the temperature was too low for the brick oven. Things like this happen all the time but I think the employees of this resort handled very well. They are all professional and sweet. We love the food and service. And YES! We’ll go back again. I recommend it. ❤️?

This pizzeria was highly recommended by a friend. Therefore the expectation was high. Well, it failed. The service was slow and the restaurant was only a third full. The pizza was good, not outstanding, but good. "Nothing to right home about". Not worth the price. No kids menu! So I ordered a bowl of Italian meatballs and they were overcooked and dry. My child didn't eat them. For my family of three it cost me $41. I stick to my local Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was really authentic and cool. The wine bottle chandeliers, metal squares ceiling tiles and large glass window to see the chef's toss the pizza dough and cook in a brick oven.Would I return? No because of the price and service.

Good Cesar salad, the small is enough for 2 if you wanna save space for pizza. Ive been here several times and love the pizza but it is pricey, so I dont take the littles here for pizza, they cant appreciate like i do! Love that they have spick chicken sausage of you dont want pork and the new pizza with the hot honey is my new favorite!! Worth every penny for grown up palates!
