The tatted up woman at the register takes WAY TOO LONG. I’ve come on multiple occasions and this lady is a SLOW checker. She’ll have a full line of customers and she’ll still take her time. I’ve had to wait at least 30 minutes before when there was only TWO people in front of me. If I see this lady at the register, I immediately leave the store or just leave everything I was going to purchase. I’m not about to wait on her to take her sweet time. On top of that, she’ll have a full blown conversation with customers after she’s done checking them out as if she doesn’t have a full line.

2/18/24 @ 5:30 pm the lady working the register was extremely rude because we picked something up out of the basket they use to stock shelves. When we left she started it again saying we had an attitude. Even flipped me off when we left as we tried to explain the other goodwills like for us to shop out of baskets because it saves them time of stocking. Very unprofessional. Trashy talking. Tacky place. Will never go back there. Ever.

Just bought this couch for almost nothing. Mark & David helped me load it up. Feeling pretty great about Goodwill today.

Lady at the register is anti-veteran. Refused to take my state ID that clearly states I'm a veteran. Said it wasn't good enough. For over a decade it's been good enough.

I've been going to this specific Goodwill 4 years now as I live closest to it. I've been shopping at Goodwills since I was a child. I go a atleast 2-4 times a month. I'll say when I was younger and struggling the goodwill was my go to for ALL my needs especially my sons and my clothing. Due to inflation of the cost of items at the goodwill the past two years, the last year I have been using my state issued ID card that legally has my veterans status, which is given only on the state Id's with proof of military discharge status being honorable i.e. being a veteran for the US military. This week was the first time I was told that they are NO LONGER accepted. And a small posting on their soda machine. That we are not allowed to use anything other than a military ID. Most vets no longer carry them due to the state updating their issued Id's. Which is so great because it's a hassle to update a veteran status military card. I was told that now as of this past two weeks that it's company policy to ONLY accept military IDs. So frustrating because I go here so often that now they will not give a small discount of the items they make a 400% profit from as all of the goodwill items are 100% donated hahah what a damn joke. It's crazy everytime I even go out of my way to throw where on the ID it shows veteran status. But to this goodwill it means nothing. Oh well there is a new thrift store down the street that isn't near as high of cost on items and so I won't even have to use an ID to purchase. And their quality of items are so far pretty good. Bye bye goodwill. You're doing it all wrong for a community thrift store who claims to be of service to their community but find every way of treating them poorly. They even turned down the couple in front of me who were well into their age that a veteran I listed on their license wasn't accepted anymore. Clearly this corporation only cares for profit now.

The man that worked there walked up to my children to grab one of them. Even if my child seems to be out of line, You get in touch with the parent and talk to the parent. Do not grab someone else is child. The man that works there needs to be reprimanded. Display season overhaul.

Went there this week a couple days ago. Saw model cars being put on display so I got two, the African American lady on the register yelled saying not to touch them so I left them. A white man then later came grabbed them to display and while I grabbed one another white lady customer, I believe don’t know if she was an employee or knew the man employee but she snatched the car from my hand and yelled that they were hers. employees didn’t say a thing about it. Various customers saw this and got surprised. I don’t know if they do the first come first serve or if the employees are gatekeeping for their people first. Either way don’t put them on display if that’s y’all’s plan. (About 20 model cars and couldn’t let me have ONE.) that’s why two fell and broke while the white lady was in line. Karma.

I love this goodwill! I’ve made some super good finds here but also miss Tina at the register is an awesome woman. She was thankful we asked before stepping behind the counter to grab drinks from the fridge, and today the receipt printer wasn’t working when I’d wanted our receipt for a receipt scanner app but I figured it is what it is. A few moments after we got to our car, she rushed up to the window with the receipt for us. Super thankful for that! She very well could’ve just left it but she brought it to us. Will definitely be back both for the cool finds and the nice cashier!
