****Location is closed****
All operations have ceased.
It was an amazing place to shop, and work. I had the pleasure of doing both. I hope there is another locally owned nursery as amazing as this one.
In a world that seems to have lost its way you can find order amongst the chaos here.
As a customer of Fossil Creek they always provide a smiling face, and a can do attitude! Everyone here has a heart to serve.
If you need an unique gift, a tree or landscaping, there is not a better place in all of DFW!
From the owners to the staff they are eager to please and help you!

I am very confused. This location is no longer Fossil Creek Tree Farm. It's now a place called Moon Valley. Pictures on this Google listing looked nothing like what was here. I was hoping to find some succulents because I saw them in the photos, but this place only seems to offer large trees. I hear the original place is moving to Keller but their website and Facebook still lists this address. Very misleading. Not happy I drove all the way out here.

LOCATION CLOSED PERMANENTLY: Moved to new location.
If you're interested in purchasing well-cared for stock instead of nursing a sickly, big-box-store plant back to health, then THIS is where you should shop! The free, invaluable information from the staff regarding when, where and how to plant can't be overlooked.
If I have any criticism, it would be that their website could be easier to navigate. Otherwise I give them an enthusiastic thumbs up!

This place is extremely incredible. I used to go for walks around it because it gave me incredible peace and tranquility and for me it is a shame that they closed it.

I was so excited to go to this nursery to find out they are closed permanently. It looks like a new nursery will eventually move in. I hope the new nursery will do natives

I recently worked with Matt to plant a new tree and redo my flower bed. The tree the builder planted didn’t survive and my flower bed lacked personality/color. Matt was wonderful to work with from start to finish! He was very thorough during the consultation to ensure the end product was something I would love. We discussed colors I like, plant size/shape and many other details that I never would’ve considered if I had taken on this project myself like I originally planned. He answered all the questions I had and had me walk the nursery to look at and approve the plants he proposed prior to moving forward. The day of planting he took special care to space plants evenly and get my approval on placement before digging. Additionally, special shout out to George and crew who white washed brick onsite while doing my masonry borders to match my house. The work that they did was beyond my expectations and I am very thankful for all their help!

We purchased two trees and the delivery/planting service.
At the nursery, everyone was nice and helpful, especially for a couple who knows nothing about trees but has to fill their HOA quota.
That process went smoothly - however everything was downhill from there.
We were concerned the trees were not planted deep enough and we wanted to clarify with the tree experts to be sure. The trees also looked like they weren't surviving well since the first day they were planted.
Before purchasing the trees, we had asked what to look out for in the leaves and such, and our newly planted trees did not look healthy. Per the agreement we signed with the nursey, we contacted them within a few days with this concern via email and phone. Our email was never addressed. We called a week or so later and we spoke to Ed and he told us it should all be fine and that the landscaper would call us. But Ed was dismissive about our concerns and didn't listen to what issues the trees were having. We also never got a call from the landscaper
Since then, we've done a lot of our own research and had to buy more materials to secure the trees. It's been a disappointing experience to say the least.
We would rather hire an arborist than be blown off a third time.

Very cute local nursery! I got an Indian Hawthorne and I can’t wait to plant it in my front bed! The staff was so friendly and so helpful and helped me pick exactly what will work in my bed!

Bought 3 plants and decided they where too aggressive grower for where I wanted. Took back in about 36 hours. Fossil creek employees told me they couldn’t take plants back after 24 hours. The Texas Agriculture Department doesn’t permit it. Total lie couldn’t find anything anywhere sting this. Walmart gives you 90 days. Calloways stands behind their plants for a year no question ask. Green Acres, Lowes and Home Depot all allow a year. Calloways even puts out a coupon on social media for $10 off $50. Plus has a reward system where you get free product according to your purchases. Needless to say FOSSIL CREEK DOESN'T STAND BEHIND THEIR PLANTS AND DOESN'T CARE IF THERE CUSTOMERS ARE HAPPY. We also got a tree and they planted it. The tree was planted too deep and died within 3 weeks. After 5 calls and several emails, I got no call back. We keep trying to give them chances. We have also bought number of plants that we didn’t realize had mites and theses plants all died. This was last time and chance. Has anyone else had this experience?

Hundreds of amazing and different plants shrubs and trees. Those PRICES on some items are pure insanity. See for yourself. I bought nothing.

The owners of this place profess to be Christians and treat their staff horribly. They are ALL about themselves. It should NOT be like that!!!

After seeing the beautiful plants and products this place had, one would imagine that their staff would be as welcoming. That is not the case. I was not offered help, nor greeted entering the nursery. My goal was to get an application and hopefully build some rapport but was dismissed immediately. I would not want to be a part of such an exclusive work community that doesn't smile at customers.
