We visited on a Saturday so no surprise it was super busy. But it still felt like we got to do everything, and it didn’t feel overly crowded. There are some places that get so crowded that I don’t feel safe taking my kids for risk of losing them in the middle of everyone, but this was not a concern. The exhibits were fun and engaging with both our kids (7 and 1) and we easily spent several hours there on a rainy day. The only reason I won’t give this a full five stars is because if the parking situation. This museum has been around for too long to not have figured out an efficient way to get people in and out of the parking lot. It took us nearly 30 minutes to get out when we left. If you park in the museums parking lot, expect a long wait.

My 3 boys Love going to this museum. There is so much to do. We easily spend 3 hours here each visit. The membership is completely worth it. The only bummer is having to pay for parking, even as a member...

This is a fantastic option for young children and for parents looking to get out of the house without spending time outdoors. There are plenty of fun, scientific exhibits that engages the minds of the kids. The playground is a fun place to expel extra energy and to eat a lunch you packed yourself.Family membership is a great option to save money and for discounted parking. I would highly recommend if parents are looking for something to entertain their children with beyond a screen.

Things have changed here, and not for the better. It is now a giant daycare. There is nothing of interest for anyone over 6 years old. I used to come here all the time and there was something for everyone. I'll be back but only with my youngest grandkids. My grandkids 7 and up are the ones that told me this place is a daycare. Very disappointing ? ? ? ?

Overall it was good experience for the children. They enjoyed various hand on activities. Enjoyed the Texas style of cattle ranch and seeing how blue bell came into history.Reason of losing a star is mainly no videos are closed caption or transcript available. None. So it quite disappointment I cannot hear what my kids are listening to.

Got there a little later than anticipated but still had a couple hours to enjoy the place. I took my nine year grandson and he enjoyed the interaction area with the different exhibits and Hands-On things to do.We went to the Planetarium for the last movie of the day which was about the total eclipse. The wait there was a little bit long because they suggested we get in line early so everyone could be accommodated. The movie was good but the seating we had was terrible because we had to look up to the ceiling and turn our heads to the side the whole time. It seems like moving the movie to the middle of the ceiling so everyone could just look up would have been more practical than playing it off to the side of the ceiling. All in all it was a great visit a little expensive for parking too it was $12

Not very educational. It's more of a play area. Very little information about dinosaurs. There was a big piece about energy, but it focused on their sponsor, which was gas. They should have more about how flight works and different types and why. The history is mostly on cattle business, primarily for the local area. It's a shame they have the space and staff to make this a great museum, and yet it is severely lacking. I've seen smaller museums do much better.

I was actually impressed with this museum! I have always been a big advocate for the Perot museum but we decided to give this museum a try. We went on Monday of spring break and it wasn’t crowded at all! It made it very enjoyable. I was impressed with quite a few of the exhibits. There seemed to be a pretty good balance of things to do in the exhibits for the kids while still interesting for adults doing the reading. The only thing I was disappointed about was the amount of things that were broken within the exhibits. For example, all the buttons in the cattle exhibit that the kids could push to hear shorter summarized versions of the information and see some cool animated shadow movements were broken, one of the main activities in the energy blast exhibit that was a simulation to drive one of the trucks was broken, the 4D theater was broken in the sense there was no 3D or 4D elements making it just a 2D movie, etc. I think if a lot of these items were fixed it would be so much more enjoyable! Still fun, but kind of disappointing. Some of our favorites were the planetarium, innovative section, cattle exhibit, the energy blast, Dino dig, and dinosaur exhibit. The aviation part was pretty cool but not so much fun for the kids. Can’t wait for the new Omni theater to open later this year!

This place used to be great, now there are a lot of incomplete exhibits, non functional interactive, and under construction exhibits... it was dirty, the Cafe was disgusting, and it was still $$44 for 2 adults and a 3yr old.Feeling a bit screwed. I've always loved this place, the omni, the whole place just felt like home. No longer the case. Sad!!!

Everything was great until I left and had to pay to get out of the parking lot....I came early so they charged me to sit and wait until the museum opened, I'm really disappointed that they charge you for parking every time you go into that museum everything in there is pressed so high that you can't afford to get anything even the cafeteria for one sandwich at Chick-fil-A is $11 that's bad so I'm a little bit disappointed that we had to pay for parking and like I said I only have enough cash to get out of there with eight dollars and they wanted to charge me $12 and I was only there for 1 1/2. That's really bad...shame on y'all.

This "Museum" is great for kids, its basically a playground. If you want a deeper dive into any of the topics in this building good luck.
