Although the visit we had to make to this facility ended with the heartbreak of not coming home with our sweet boy, the staff was so respectful and calm during our difficult time. Dr. Tobleman explained everything so well and Mandy even brought in a cupcake for him as a final treat for bringing our family such joy over the years. We made a drive to get here because of the positive recommendations I've received for the doctors and staff, and they did not disappoint.

I brought my sweet girl here and had to make the hardest decision of my life to put her down. This is obviously traumatic but this is the best possible place I could have taken her to. Shepard was absolutely compassionate and was with me every step of the way during this difficult process. I am so thankful that she was there. I am blown away by how wonderful the staff was towards us and my Nala. My dog said goodbye to the world peacefully right by the lake and is no longer suffering and in pain. Thank you to all of the staff that I came in contact with. Rip my sweet angel.

Wonderfull and caring folks. Myca was in a fight and received some new holes in her lip and neck. The staff were attentive and very up front about pricing. They made sure I knew the costs before they performed the procedures. They got Myca in quickly and offered me a room to wait in. They initially didn't prescribe a sedative, but Myca is a nervous pup in the best of times and when I asked for some doggy downers, and they added them to the meds list. I left with detailed care instructions and 4 different meds with dosing instructions. Very satisfied with my experience all round. Myca even had a smile on her face as we left. Thank you to the whole staff!

I just had to make the worst decision of my life. My babies time was at an end and the care, compassion and understanding they had was more than I could have asked for. The doctors explained the entire process, what are options were and what we could do. Not once did I feel they were gouging me. Thank you for being there during our difficult time. We hope that the love we felt and compassion you showed us can be felt by every single baby that walks through your doors. Forever grateful, The Clifton’s.

My 2-year-old terrier mix woke up one morning and was paralyzed on her back side I took her in to my family vet and he referred me to The Specialist here who did emergency back surgery on my puppy and fixed her back somehow they had to go back in and tweak it a little bit but then with a lot of physical therapy at home my little puppy was walking again and she's 5 years old and she still walking and running and she is as crazy as ever. Chasing the cats around and wrestling with them again. We love her to death and I can't imagine what we would have done without the wonderful staff. Thank you very much for helping our little girl Mae Mae walk again ??

My miniature poodle got a bout of severe pancreatitis and he spent five days at the Fort Worth emergency hospital and now he’s doing amazing. I am just so thankful to the caring doctors and vet assistant who helped w his recovery!! They told me there were no guarantees since it was so severe, but thank God he’s doing amazing!

The vet Christoper Teff treated our dogs today who got into a fight - they each had a gash on each side of their muzzle - we were told it’ll be cleaned out and see if they needed stitches or let them heal on their own. The initial work up for each dog was almost 2000.00 dollars…I’ve had staples done on other pets that didn’t have to be put under but this was a full workout of anesthesia etc. We declined that part not only due to cost but one dog was an older dog. We were told by the tech he was very upset with us and his wording on the discharge papers reflected that - basically as if we were horrible pet owners. The vet tech was amazing BUT Dr. Ted should have spoken to us personally if he truly felt we were making the wrong decision on one dog or both verses how he handled it. Very disappointing. I question if he truly cares or didn’t get the money for the clinic which would have been 4000.00 for two small slashes! I’ll never use this facility again if needed I’ll go elsewhere

If I could give this "hospital" 0 stars, I absolutely would. My dog and best friend, Tucker, was seen twice by Dr. Bierwiaczonek in 14 days.
When we first went to the hospital, he was vomiting, not eating, and lethargic. Dr. Bierwiaczonek said he had an upset stomach and sent us home with anti-nausea after a stomach x-ray. 10 days later, we returned because he was still lethargic, not eating, and fatigued. At that point, Dr. Bierwiaczonek failed to repeat any labs or x-rays, saying that "it wouldn't show anything". She sent us home with a vague diagnosis of "back pain" and implied that Tucker was dramatic by saying "poodles aren't known for their stoicism".
3 days later, when he still hadn't improved, I took him to PARC. The vet there recommended full body x-rays and immediately found a baseball sized mass on his heart. They were able to refer us to a local oncologist who quickly diagnosed lymphoma and kidney failure. The "back pain" had actually been his kidneys failing. 3 days later, we lost our Tucker.
Dr. Bierwiaczonek had TWO chances to save Tucker's life. She is supposed to be an expert and "do no harm". Instead, she let our poor dog suffer. Don't let this happen to you!!

If I could leave them 0 stars I would. The night receptionist was very rude and not helpful at all! My husband and I brought in two dogs that we picked up along the highway to be scanned for microchips. She was rude upon us entering and after scanning for a chip, she informed us “there’s a chip but no information, you’ll have to keep them overnight and call animal control in the morning”. We told her we literally couldn’t keep them because we have several dogs of our own and asked if there was anyway we could find the owners information from the chips. She rudely said no and that there was nothing she could do. We were not happy with her treatment and responses so we went to another emergency vet nearby and they scanned both dogs for chips and were able to connect us with the owners within a few minutes. They were also so kind and compassionate. I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but after that treatment from her followed by the incredible treatment of the other vet, I felt this needed to be written.

Absolutely amazing team! Extremely kind & fast service. We were in with our boy cat who was having stomach issues, and even with a busy lobby they made sure to have multiple techs check in with us. They also gave us options for what we needed, without feeling pressured & went above & beyond to explain possible illnesses & treatment options. We left extremely happy & will be back if needed.

It is unfortunate that one star is required to write a review because this place deserves zero. Our family member, Tucker, was seen twice here in 10 days and both times dismissed by Dr. Bierwiaczonek as a "tweaked back" and "dramatic."
We took Tucker to PARC when he still wasn't making improvements and their staff immediately ran blood work and x-rays, revealing a 9 centimeter tumor growing next to his heart. We were referred to a veterinary oncologist but it was too late and Tucker was in too much pain after the negligence of Fort Worth Animal Emergency Hospital.
Dr. Bierwiaczonek is the chief of staff, alarmingly. She is supposed to be the expert. She is supposed to care and do no harm. We didn't know any better and we are now devastated. Don't let this happen to you and your fur baby. Rest In Peace Tucker. 6/30/2024.

Our beloved dog was seen twice in 10 days here. He was lethargic, not eating, and generally not himself. They diagnosed him with back pain from an unspecified injury and send him home.
Eight days later, they doubled down on this diagnosis without rerunning labs or doing additional X-rays. The vet, Dr. Bierwiaczonek, even implied he was being dramatic, by saying "poodles aren't known for their stoicism."
When he still wasn't improving a few days later, we took him to a different hospital, the PARC. They immediately took action and diagnosed him with a tumor growing in his chest cavity. They were able to get us into a veterinary oncologist right away. We lost our sweet boy less than a week later.
Dr. Bierwiaczonek at Fort Worth Emergency Hospital had not one, but two, chances to help us get an accurate diagnosis and alleviate our pet's suffering - after charging us hundreds of dollars. They failed at every turn.

The receptionist was very rude over the phone would not even quote me appropriately on what an exam fee would be my dog is in the middle of dying and they want to talk about money. Do not use this vet.
