Took my F150 in. Had a loud noise coming from the back of truck while driving. Gary went for a test drive. New exactly what it was. Set me up with a date to bring it in. It was worth the wait for my appointment to bring it in.They replace bearing in the rear end. Now it drives like a new truck. Excellent price and service.

About two years ago I took my 2014 F150 to this shop and had the rear differential gears upgraded and the stock open differential changed to a helical geared limited slip. This was in preparation for using my truck to tow a large trailer. I wanted to wait a bit before I put a review up for this shop just to get an idea of how their work would hold up over time. Well it's held up quite well.I spoke at length with the technician that would be doing the work and he talked with me about the work he'd be doing and that all new carrier bearings, seals, etc would be used. Upon picking up my truck after the upgrade work it was immediately evident that the truck was quieter when driving. Yes, the old stock differential with 75k miles on it had a small amount of noise that I hadn't even realized was there. But Diff & Gear's work was so good that the upgraded differential was as quiet as a new truck. As you would expect! This quietness and quality of work has held up well over the past two years. I've towed a 5,000 lb trailer for thousands of miles in that time and this differential has held up well and is still dead quiet.Over the past 40+ years of driving I've had differential gears replaced by a number of so-called, "professional" shops in the DFW area. This was typically in my sports cars, the results were a mixed bag. Some where okay, but a couple of times the results were horrible, with excessive gear whine and the shop installing those gears arguing that gear whine is normal when you go up numerically in gearing. Well that's Bul_shi_ No differential should whine when you install the gears correctly.If you want your differential built correctly take it to Diff & Gear of Ft Worth.

We used to rebuild a lot of 240sx 5 Speed gear boxes, and we would repeatedly order parts from them before they became scarce. We have also used them for a few differential rebuilds off and on. Great group of people, very knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to help you track down those hard to find parts.

Really good place.. we had a hard time finding anybody to rebuild the k1500 1999 chevy Suburban we are working on and as soon as we got a hold of them they told us 8 to 10 days and they would have it ready they lived up to their word appreciate it thank you guy I will be sending all in any of my customers that need a rear end to you

They built a custom driveshaft for my project f100. I bright them the transmission yoke and pinion flange as well as measurements per their instructions and they built me a quality driveshaft in less than 24 hours.Would not hesitate to do business again, very friendly and honest people that do quality work.

Very happy customer! Thanks to Charlie for guiding me to get the right ratio and parts. Gary for getting me the right positive trax box and James for doing the install. Drives 100% better with the 4.10 ratio upgrade w/powertrax locker for positive traction. Major improvement in acceleration take off and trans shifts points are alot better than before for highway driving. Had 3.31 gears in my F150. Thank you all for making my experience a good one!

For some reason these guys don’t want to do a gear swap on my 2014 Tacoma. Probably because I’m not going with the brand they sell. Either way. Never got called back. Going with a different shop.
