I stayed at this hotel from October 20-24. Despite being downtown, it doesn't have an M-Club, which was surprising. As a Platinum Elite member, I’m accustomed to even the most basic Marriott hotels offering complimentary water, but I was charged for it here, which I only noticed when I received my receipt via email. The gym was small with limited equipment, and the water dispenser didn't cool, leaving me with room-temperature water. The front desk staff, particularly the woman who checked us in, seemed irritated when I asked questions, so I avoided asking more. She clearly lacked the hospitality mindset, which set a negative tone for my stay. As someone who travels monthly, dealing with unfriendly service at check-in really sets a bad tone for the week. Additionally, valet parking was $40/night, while a nearby lot was less than half that price and free on Sunday. The front desk didn’t bother to offer any parking alternatives, making it a generally unpleasant experience.

I can’t stress how much of help Manolo at the front desk and Wesley at the bar were help at Fort Worth black stone!! My car broke down and they did everything to make sure I was okay and having a good experience. They made my stay easy as ever and I couldn’t appreciate them enough. Very grateful for this experience after my 5th time staying at this hotel. The room never disappoints but now the staff is top tier at a level I didn’t realize. I can’t thank them enough and hope they get the praise they deserve.
Rooms: Great rooms
Nearby activities: All bars and hotels
Safety: Always safe
Walkability: Everything is close
Food and drinks: They have alot of bars around

We visited Ft Worth a couple of weeks ago and stayed at this hotel.
The biggest issue was that there is not a safe in the room! I know, crazy huh? Imagine visiting 6 days to attend a wedding and bringing jewelry for the formal events and having to carry those valuables wherever we went! I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel that didn't have a safe in the room.

The day I got there it was hectic for me but the guy at check in was very patient with me and helpful. I love the rooms very clean and the pool was a plus since my daughter was persistent on going swimming. All front desk employees were amazing though when I needed something. I would definitely return to this location next time I go to fort worth. This location was very convenient as well to other dining areas and also enjoy the corner bakery right next door.
Rooms: Rooms were clean and very roomy
Nearby activities: Had dining areas and a little splash pad type thing close downtown
Food and drinks: Cupboard had a good variety of food and drinks and snacks ,even ordered a drink at the bar and was delicious.

I stayed here a year ago and had a great experience. My recent 3 night stay was disappointing. The Internet was virtually down the whole time. My room hadn't been swept and there was dirt and crumbs here and there. My bathroom sink had hair in it. Housekeeping didn't empty my trash either.
I'll look to stay somewhere else next year.
Rooms: Room hadn't been swept and the sink had hair in it.
Nearby activities: Would definitely stay here again because of everything within walking distance.

Decent property. Kinda old and lacks the basics like other Marriott properties have. No breakfast provided especially for titanium members.
Still giving it 5 stars since it is a Marriott property.

The room was ok, but it's dated -- small and overpainted and a cracked window.

The location was perfect, the parking was great, the valet staff were amazing and the staff at the hotel were friendly. The bed was hard, and my husband and I didn't sleep well. In the middle of my shower, the water was shut off for a leak, so it was very inconvenient since I was getting ready for church. Even with all that, I only took off 1 star, and the only reason I wouldn't stay again was the bed.

Staying here now. Front desk staff isn’t very helpful or customer centered. My room wasn’t throughly cleaned upon check in; there is literally used ?? sitting on the windowsill and crumbs all over the desk. Also, my room doesn’t have a Do Not Disturb sign and they apparently don’t have extras to give me.

Unfortunately did not have a good experience staying at the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Fort Worth. We received an email noting our check in time was for 10:30a and denoting our check out time as well. Nothing would lead us to assume otherwise until checking in at noon and being told by the front desk that check in was not until 4p. We were able to find another room that was available to be checked into immediately but very disappointed that we could have potentially been told to bring all our luggage back to our car. Than after telling the front desk we had paid to park at another garage and asked if the hotel had one she insinuated to us that the hotel had free parking. Little did we know it was an additional $42 a night and our original parking was cheaper. Very poor communication as she could have very easily informed us it was paid but mislead us to believe it was paid. Neither was this a typical parking garage but you pull into the garage and have to valet park your car. There are elevators for the car that the attending valet puts your car into. If we had wanted valet, we would have used it out front. Again, very very disappointed with our stay so far and will not be staying here again due to the severe lack of miscommunication. La as

Location is good. Came for business and they could not upgrade my room. The smell is disgusting and the king bed is NOT a king bed. Absolutely not happy with this as I stay at Marriott Courtyards all the time.
