I've traded here since they opened 20 or so years ago as Discount Steel. Stocked for pros and hobbyists alike. As a hobbyist I like the remnants and small stuff room...good prices and you never know what good stuff you'll find. Also have a decent selection of metalworking tools, hinges, pre-cut steel ornamentation. For larger $ buys, sign up for their email and they offer 20 to 25% discount on most national holiday weeks.

Great company, stellar customer service! I drove all the way from Garland to pick up my order and arrived there at about 5:20 pm. The staff helped me load the items into my vehicle. The remote customer service team that handles orders (Annie, Lesa) was also extremely helpful!

Went in for some material for a diy project, this is the place to be to score some good pieces of surplus. Found everything i needed. The nice young lady was so welcoming & showed me around the store. I definitely will be coming back for more material for future projects!!!

Really friendly customer service! I am a custom furniture builder so I do not know a lot about metals, cold or hot rolled, thickness, technical names, and so on. I shop by appearance mostly or I walk around and let ideas come to me by what is available in-store which Coremark has A LOT in store. They even have copper and brass!! They are very understanding of this and very helpful! I also LOVE going through the scrap metal for $0.75 a lb!! I do think the $7 a cut is a bit much when other metal stores are free cuts or $2 a cut so I have to bring my trailer and just buy 10ft sections. Even so, I still am a fan of this location and what it has to offer. OH...and they allow dogs in and are super loving with my big goofball mastiff so 6 stars for that!!

I work for a patio company that deals with Aluminum and Steel. I came in on behalf of my boss to get a quote for material for a project. The cute girl at front counter Sam I believe was her name was very helpful when it came to answering my questions. If there wasn’t an answer she knew she knew where to get it. When we’re ready to make the purchase we will be reaching back out. Amazing customer service.

Probably fine if you are doing large orders but not the place for small stuff. Was charged $6 per cut since I only needed 6 footers. Then it took over 20 minutes for them to bring it out

Heather is great to call and order. We buy mostly Aluminum there. Never there to pick up more than 15 minutes.

Overpriced, very slow too load. Waited almost 2 hours for five sticks, when they where finally brought out, they where cut wrong, guy at counter did not listen.

Last time I will do business with this place. Have me a price yesterday. Placed order this morning picked up late today. Overcharged me almost $30. Didn't notice until I went around and picked up material and while waiting notice the difference. Went back in to get it corrected told me basically to get screwed because I had already paid for it. Treated me like a lier. Very disrespectful. To many other places with better prices and service.
