Every time my wife and I go there to get assistance, the people are friendly and kind as well as being sympathetic to our lack of funds to buy food items that we cannot afford. So with all of this being said, thank you Galvez Food Bank for all of the kindness you share not just with us but those who are in need.Merry Christmas to All

Waited 1 hr. The other people on the bus with me packed up and left. I Never had a problem here ever until today. I take 3 busses to get there. I'm in a wheelchair. Other then the office ladies I was ignored! I was never helped! Unbelievable! Never ever been so insulted.

My organization partners with Galvez to assist clients and residents with food resources. They are very generous with the amount of food they provide, they provide various food options in each box, and have wonderful customer service. Great organization to work with!

There's no excuse for how slow the line moves. Dozens of people stand in line for hours in the scorching sun - if there was any good reason for that I'd understand, but there isn't any. We waited for over an hour in line and at that pace it was gonna be another 40 minutes before our turn so we just left. We passed by the tables where employees are supposed to be doing 2 things: collecting a signature and then handing off a box of food. They were just taking their time looking at a papaya, putting it in the box then taking it out, then chatting etc. Just insane.

They are always helpful. Great place to go if you need food. They give 1 box of food per person. Everyone is nice and get you out as fast as they can.

*Truck drivers* if you come here, do not follow gps. U have to turn onto east 4th st, then left onto south retta st, which goes straight to their gate. Workers were very nice and helpful.

I went today and got a lot of really good food items for my family. Everyone was very nice and helpful. They took my groceries to my car for me which was a blessing bc I couldn’t lift that heavy box

My goodness I went to this place today these people are truly a blessing. I spoke to Mr. Robert over the phone and the Reverend face to face. If y'all are in need of help to here they have so many resources. The lady inside the place was such a blessing. I have tears in my eyes because there are still great people out there in the world. People who are willing to bless you an not judge you. Families mother's father's an all of the above go here you will be welcomed. I thank y'all so much. Great blessings are to come.

This place is seriously helpful in a stressful situation. I got there at 9:07, I had walked there. The line was already very long, it did move quite slow at first. A kind woman was passing out cold water bottles and electrolyte Popsicles to keep us cool in the sun. Come 10:30 I was in the very front of the line being handed a box, an OJ, and a whole cart full of goods. Had to call in a ride home! Most of the items were still good as well. I only had to discard an onion and some squash. There was produce and proteins as well as staples like rice. I was even able to get cat food. Thank you!

I donated several plastic tubs full of canned goods, rice, beans, flour and masa! I went to the office on the front left and they confirmed what I was bringing in and directed me to the delivery dock in the rear of the facility. I had assistance there unloading the food and was on my way fairly quickly. Great experience and I will definitely donate there again!

The people that work there very nice they made sure we had water and I see push-ups the line was very long but they made it really pleasant by being nice ?
