Staff is so friendly, they are easy to talk to and you don't always have to wait in a huge line. They give a lot of food and unlike other places if you don't use something they give you, you can give it back to them so you're not wasting food that someone else can eat. They also offer GED classes and other life training courses

These young leadershipDo not have any empathy . They acted as a Robots with no compassion at all. I met very nice gentleman Roni 3 years ago . I lost my job due Covid and I needed help with my utilitiesBills. I am taking care of 2 parents with dementia ( 85 and 83) . I just had very bad car accident with rollover. I am struggling taking care of my parents, trying to work which is very difficult for me because I had a head injury due my rollover . This year we will not have any Christmas presents . I amTrying to keep a house and my car. I donated for food pantries for 25 years. This year I need help. My momIs sick and I had to take her to the doctor this Wednesday . It is only one day off I have. I was trying to make to this food pantry as well today. They close at 1 pmI was there at 1:01. One of the worker told me that I need first to talk to case worker . I open the door and I asked receptionist for help . One of the case worker came out and said no. I was begging her to see me. I explained her my situation. I am only one who work I support 4 people , my parents can not drive , they can not come, I am their caregiver and I had only this Wednesday off I ask if she will do exception for me I was late for only 1 min. It was a young lady. She did not care at all. No emphatic at all. I asked for a leadership praying may be he can listen to me. He was also young . Same answer-/ no. Where is the kindness ? Willing to work for people in need? Two those young people were absolutely ignored what I was trying to explain . They never had a hardship taking care of 2 elderly people , child with brain injury , myself just spent 10 days in the hospitalAnd lost my job . I went to the other place . There were absolutely opposite people. They listen to me even I was also late. They provide help for my family and most important they were very warm and understanding . I think if you work for people , you have to love your job , people come in big distress with a lot of pain and you should be able to comfort and help as you would do for our Jesus . I think those people in NRH do not know what is real Christianity is , giving yourself completly helping people and not looking at the clock I think these people at NRH should not workAt that place . They need to work with mechanic not with people

Not nearly as friendly as they once were.Some staff members should consider not working with the public especially low income families.I've been involved with this ministry for years through so many avenues as a leader, volunteer and client and I have such a sour experience these days in the worst time of my life.
