I wish I could leave no stars . But I'm forced to have at least one. Just about everyone who works here has a bad ,bad attitude. It's hard to find help bc most of the workers don't care about the customers. The produce section is failing .. and they have to know it. Most of the stuff I had to get for my Instacart customer was so old and bruised. Then the checker is too worried about the young Hispanic guy who was talking about Being HUNG OVER AF !! His words .. oh !!! Did I tell y'all about the employee last week who literally pooped his pants .. terrible store , people are rude and RUNNING. Doesn't Anyone say excuse me anymore ?

Love their food! I do not like the way the store is set up, too small. Everything in the store is good quality and fresh.

After being a years-long, loyal Central Market customer, and driving quite a distance to shop there, I am disgusted to discover my Central Market brand extra-virgin olive oil is fake. It’s probably soybean oil. Because I am picky about ingredients I took my bottle of olive oil to our family Christmas gathering. The oil was left in my vehicle overnight. This morning in the low 30s the oil was not at all solidified. It was as pourable as it was at room temperature. I don’t know what the contents of this oil are, but I will get to the bottom of this and pursue it at the highest level. If you buy olive oil there, test every single bottle before you open it. I’m shocked and dismayed that this happened with a Central Market brand. The bottle is in my refrigerator and still completely pourable. Real olive oil solidifies between 40 and 50 degrees. This is not olive oil!

OMG I purchased two bûches de Noël from Central Market: one chocolate and one mocha. La Madeleine sold them for $44 while at Central Market they were $29 each. They were to die for! Just as good as if they were made by great bakers in Austria, Switzerland or Paris. And I know because I am from France and Switzerland. I will never buy them from anywhere else or try to make them myself. And the lobster tails they had on sale were incredibly sweet and tender.

I will not preorder any holiday meals with central market again. This was my first time ordering a holiday meal. We purchased one meat and two vegetables dishes. With no advance notice the store did not have one of the vegetable dishes I ordered. The store did offer to substitute a potato side, but the majority of my guests cannot eat potatoes. Subbing a carb for a squash vegetable dish is not a good solution. I am disappointed. It would have been most helpful to have as much advance notice as possible.

Not laid out well. It's like a maze with weird bottle necks. The lady in the bakery acts like she's doing you a favor. And don't even consider going through self check with 16 items because the two (yes, two) people who stand there overseeing self checkout will ask you to move to one of the few lines worked by actual people even though there are multiple self check registers open.

There is always a wonderful selection of products to choose from. Some of the friendliest cashiers in town!

I found Central Market to be a shopping adventure. There are so many items you don't find at most grocery stores. It's set up like an Ikea with a Discovery path thru the store. It has a great meat and fish market. I picked up some delicious muffins from the bakery. Some of the basics are a little spendy. The prepared foods look scrumptious. I'm sure I'll be back.

They have really good gelato here! A small is just $3.50 and their fall seasonal flavors were unique like mascarpone and fig, pumpkin pie, and sweet potato casserole which was SO GOOD!!! Loved the sweet potato casserole, might be one of my favorite gelatos!

We love CM. So, we had high expectations. But, their Thanksgiving order was awful! Turkey and dressing were dry, green beans were not cooked. Even the pie was disappointing. Maybe they cook different when making large orders. We threw most of it out! We will NOT order Thanksgiving again from them. We will still order lots of other items.
