I'll start by saying....Rebecca. She is the amazing soul I reached on the phone before I traveled by car 1000 miles to Fort Worth Texas. This amazing manager ensured all was well along with the rest of the staff there. It was the staff and the onsite laundry that made the stay amazing. I chose this one because of the lower rates and the full kitchen, I packed with the intention of being able the cook to save on expenses. It did make more sense as to why the rates were lower on arrival. The rooms are still dated which isn't a huge issue. Just don't be fooled by online photos. There isn't a breakfast or coffee option at this Sonesta location though I was sure different booking sites stated that there was. Not all the rooms have all the essentials for cooking and serving, so bring your own if that is the plan. It only made nervous because I didn't want to be at risk or being charged for anything unaccounted for in the room. You may have to request a coffee pot for your room as well and bring laundry detergent because there isn't any available for purchase. The water doesn't get super hot, that's okay if that's not something needed. There is a pet area for walking your service dog. It is small and supplies bags. Always clean up after your canine! I would note ahead that not all the staff is educated on ADA and service dog rights. That made me a little nervous when I checked in late at night. Staff member wasn't sure of regulations, only that the hotel has a strict policy. Filtered water system in the gym is currently not working. If you desire is to have filtered water, plan to purchase. The gas station down the road has some for sale for 4.99 a gallon. There is a little area for snacks for purchase, it is really limited to ramen, oatmeal, and chips. If you desire something more, plan to stop on your way in. The room was clean but not by the standards that most other hotels have. Toiletries are low end, but we always bring our own. If you're looking for perfection, if you are OCD, or find imperfections to be bothersome.....pay 100 to 200 more a night for another area. Don't walk in there with having the expectations that you would have paying a much higher rate. If you're looking to have clean laundry, be amongst a great staff, and save....this is the place to go. Treat them well, I'll miss those people.

The only good thing about this hotel is a girl at the front desk called Shaniqua. Everyone else is racist. Service is horrible and they have bugs. When they say something is going to get done either the person who’s supposed to take care of it didn’t come in that day or it’s a holiday. Even though they tell you the whole time that the issue is going to be resolved on that specific day. If I could give it negative numbers, I would. Worst hotel ever there’s a smell in the hallways like they’re trying to cover something up. Oh and if you want some weed, you can buy it on the first floor. The elevator only works sometimes. If you want to come here you can but just know that if you have any issues, you’re probably going to have to take care of it yourself.

If I could zero stars I would! I reserved a room at this location through Airbnb through the host RoomPicks. Their website states they’re pet friendly with no restrictions or limits. I come in to do my check in for the room and the front desk “manager” was so rude and told me they don’t accept cats but couldn’t find where it says that in writing. The website doesn’t say anything about not allowing cats or if it’s at the location discretion. She’s completely rude and inhumane and stated she wouldn’t approve my refund and called trespassing on me when I have a reservation. -100/10 wouldn’t recommend this location at all!

To be honest. It sucked. The room was nice but definitely paid a lot more than I should’ve and they take a $100 deposit. Which I wasn’t aware of until I got to the front desk

We booked and payed for a reservation upon arrival they claimed they had no record of our reservation we contacted our priceline advisor who upon talking to the hotel was told we cancelled the reservation so they wanted to charge a cancellation fee and not provide a full refund after spending the entire weekend going back and forth we finnally recieved the full refund it should not have been this big of a show we paid for a service that they denied us the refund should have been issued immediatly without the headache, completly unprofessional and horrible customer service, more like extorsion.

I recently stayed at the Sonesta Simply Suites in Fort Worth while on vacation. I’m choosing to write this review because of one specific person, Krystal, who made a HUGE difference in our stay/experience.
Long story short, I booked a reservation through a 3rd party of a 3rd party and due to technology errors the reservation was confirmed on my end but not given to the hotel. Krystal stayed firm on hotel policy of needing a reservation AND also worked with us and both 3rd parties for an HOUR AND A HALF (till 1 in the morning) to resolve the problem. If it weren’t for her friendliness and overall positive demeanor the night could have gone a completely different direction. In a moment when we did not know if we had a place to stay and were not familiar with the area she made us feel like we had someone in our corner. We appreciated all of her efforts and for getting us a room by the end of it all!
As far as the rooms and location - the rooms were decent - they were clean but maybe just need a few things updated from use. No complaints on my end. The location was far enough that we needed rides to go to surrounding attractions we planned to visit. I’m not familiar with the surrounding area but I felt safe the entire time. I would book here again… using their website.

After a full day of travel we were greeted by a front desk attendant with major attitude. The booking site and the hotel are not on the same page at all and it leaves the customer in the middle of mess and drama. Once finally assigned a room, we can’t access the bathroom because the door is locked. So the same bad attitude having young lady has to now march into the room to unlock the door. The restroom was the worst part of the room so we see why the door was locked. The shower curtain was dirty, the towels were thin and had stains on them, the light fixture was terribly rusty and the sink drain didn’t open so water just sat in the sink. We had to brush our teeth in the kitchen. The a/c had tape on it and didn’t seem to work right. The hallways smelled musty or like they were covering up the smell of smoke. Staying here was the biggest headache ever!

First time staying in a lower budget hotel, came to the city for a wedding and I will never stay at another sonesta location ever again! I travel weekly for work and never experienced the things I did during this trip! Staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. Stove in room didn't work and didnt realize it til after grocery shopping in the area. Stayed 3 nights house keeping never cleaned the room we ended up setting the trash out in the hallway to get it emptied. It was myself and my children and we needed extra towels was simply told "we're out of towels!" With rudeness. So we bathed with dirty towels during our stay. Drove 12hrs with children to get to Texas then was told I couldn't get in my room cause they have a list of like 20 cards they don't accept! I was this far away from home stranded outside with no clue of what to do until a family member had to drive 45 mins to come rescue us. I've never had issues using this same card at Hilton, Crowne Plaza, or Drury when I travel for work and get this far from home and they refuse to accept my card...but accepted my friends Chime card with no issue Lol! This experience was such a mess. The only good thing about the stay was the fact the rooms are very spacious and parking was simple. Whoever runs this place seriously need to meet with their team and consider a hospitality or customer service training session. No one smiles no one is friendly and that's just weird from a hotel staff.

Rooms were decent even though they were outdated. Place is currently going through a remodel. Hallways smelled musty but hopefully the remodel fixes all that. I had no issues with the location. Nice and quiet and didn’t see anyone wondering around late at night. My only complaint would be with the service. The staff at check in including the manager were pretty rude and not welcoming at all. Maybe new owner needs to look into this further. Overall it was a decent experience for the price.
