The receptionists here ignore you when you come in and leave you just standing there looking like an idiot while they work on the computer and ignore you until they finish. Can't even say hello I'll be with you in just a minute--nothing. Happens every time I'm here. When they finally do it's to hand you the check-in tablet even if you've done it at home. Makes me mad every time! I love my doctor but the checkin experience is awful

I've been seeing Mark for over 15 years. My entire family three daughters. He's helped me lose almost 100 lb. No medication, a real doctor

Office itself can be disorganized but Dr Byarlay is great! Would recommend!

I should have listened to the reviews but I didn't! I high suggest you read the reviews about this office before you go in. I have been trying for months to get my referral for a thyroid biopsy and no one will return my call or send in the referral. I do not think they care about patients. I had a terrific experience with Dr. Sana when I was there. She took her time and examined me and ended up finding multiple nodules on my thyroid. That is not even what I went in for. The problem is with the office and nursing staff. I have had one person call me back in the 3 1/2 months of calling, leaving voicemail after voicemail. The nurse that called me back after the 4th voicemail promised to give me an answer by the end of the day. It is now 3 business days later and I have no answer. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and a chance to make things right but it is time that I move on. Unfortunately, I have to start over with a new doctor in a new office. Please read all reviews and take them seriously if you are looking for a new doctor. This is not the place to go!

I have had two doctors appoints where I have waited in the lobby for 45 minutes only to be take back to an exam room and told that it would be another 30 minutes. They don't take your time seriously and I have walked out both times without seeing the doctor. I understand once in a while running behind but by the time I was called in there was another person in the lobby 20 minutes passed her appointment. If you are going to schedule your appointments 15 mins apart than keep to that schedule do not abuse your other patients.

The staff does not listen to what you say. The office has been updated at the Glenview office but still has that 1950's look to it. They avoid giving you an answer. The office and care are from the 1950's.

Update - The office has since worked with me to resolved the issue. I would recommend them as they ultimately did what was right be their patient. I called in to the Keller office asking for an annual checkup. My doctor was at another location so the receptionist said she would schedule my annual checkup with Dr. Byarlay. While the experience with the Doctor himself was good, a month later I get a bill and see they did not bill my insurance for an annual checkup but an outpatient visit so the bill is $205 instead of free. I'm not concerned, mistakes happen, so I called to make them aware of the mistake. The receptionist proceeds to blatantly lie and claim she never agreed to schedule me for an annual checkup and won't send a corrected code to my insurance company. I would not have agreed to visit another doctor if I had known they would charge $205 for a visit which would have been completely covered by my insurance otherwise. I recommend staying away from this business. It is fine to make mistakes but it says a lot about the business when they refuse to make matters right by the patient.

I normally don't write reviews but I had to write one about this office. Although I love my doctor I hate hate hate the reception desk every single time I call they are so rude to me. They never actually answer any of my questions, they cut me off when I'm speaking, and they've hung up on me before. I thought the first time I called was a fluke but I've called there more than five times and every single time the reception desk has been so terrible to talk to. They sound unhappy, they sound annoyed, and they make no attempt at finding out any information for you. How do you work in heath care and customer service but can't even be nice over the phone?

Dr. Seo is awesome! Very attentive to my needs and a great listener of my concerns. He's explains my diagnosis and course of action in great detail so I never leave with questions. Finally found a great PCP!

I've used Dr. Byarlay as my primary care physician for about three years. I was generally happy with him and his office but in the last year, the quality of care and service provided by both Dr. Byarlay and his office have declined significantly. I take two medications that requires a Doctor's approval each month prior to refill. These medicines are quite expensive. Fortunately, my insurance covers most of the cost. However, if I submit the refill request more than a few days in advance, the insurance company will refuse to pay. This means I'm very dependent on the Dr's office being responsive to these refill requests in a timely manner.
Five times in the last 12 months, the Dr's office has delayed approving the request long enough that I have run out of the medications. In the last three months, the delay has resulted because Dr. Byarlay was 'out of the office', for days at a time. This week, I submitted the refill request on Monday, it's now Wednesday and I had to call their office to find out what caused the delay this time. Of course, Dr. Byarlay left work this morning and will not be returning today. Oh, and by the way, the prescription can't be approved again until I come in for a checkup. This has happened twice. They could have at least notified me last month that I would need to come in. That would have given me the opportunity to schedule around my job. But with short notice, I'll have to miss work again for a couple hours. I don't mind the office visit but clearly, Dr. Byarlay has stopped giving even a little bit of damn about the inconvenience his actions are causing.
I'll go in tomorrow for the checkup but I'm now going to start researching a new Doctor. Bottom line, in my considered opinion, they used to be decent but they are slipping into mediocrity. Seek help elsewhere.

Dr. Byarlay is knowledgable and seems to genuinely care about his patients. I've never felt so comfortable with a doctor and trusting them with my health. Highly recommend Byarlay for a primary physician.

Dr Byarlay always takes time to assess the issue thoroughly. Very personable.
