“What a fun Fort Worth delight! My boyfriend and I stumbled in here and left with three new books! The staff could not be nicer, they have a free coffee and tea station, and that warm fuzzy feeling you get, not found at typical commercialized bookshops, is found here. One of a kind spot, great staff, word to the wise- they will look closed with their tinted windows out front but they're not!”

“Really great teas, limited book selection. The barista was super knowledgeable, helpful and recommended great teas. Shop was clean and tidy. Last takeaway, the lids on the to go cups are very flimsy.”

“It's so amazing! When you walk in and just stand there, the smell of incense surrounding you and the music playing comforts you and makes you feel so at ease. The little lady behind the counter is just full of suggestions. I love it here.”

“Don't let the exterior fool you, the inside of the Dock Book shop has a wonderful collection of books by Black authors, for Black readers (and just any reader in general who wants to diversify their reading experience). I went to a poetry reading program here (they have a stage in the book store!) and I fell in love with their collection of books, ethnic clothing and other wonderful knick knacks! Would definitely recommend to readers!”

“This is a university that cares about students not only during their academic programs but also years after graduation. And, I'm not talking about requests for donations. They really do appear to care and help alum after they've graduated. My wife's the one who attended their undergraduate business program.”

“Nice, clean, and peaceful atmosphere. My daughter enjoys the children's section, and I like that there is a nice section just for children's chapter books. There is a good variety of vinyls and we enjoyed looking through the puzzles. Good location, good service”

“We enjoy going to Barnes and Noble to browse and read, have some good coffee, and spend time together. There isn't always enough seating unless you go early. It is sad there are so few bookstores anymore, but glad we have one close to us.”

“Helpful staff. I got my books and there was no wait. I was in and out in 5 minutes. It took me longer to walk to the bookstore then it did to get the book and check out. I reccomend parking on the north side, so if you enter in from Marine Pkwy turn to the right and go around to the back by the water and walking trails. Park in the first 2 isles if available and follow the walk way all the way around and follow the signs for building WSTU (book store). There is a lot of construction going on and it's blocked off everywhere but if you follow the open walk way paths there are plenty of signs out to get you where you need to be as long as you know what building you need to be in. Prices at the bookstore are of course ridiculous but that is the same with all textbooks you need for school so no surprise there. Covid measures are in place at the bookstore. You are not free to get your own books you must ask a bookstore associate for assistance and they will get you what you need. See map in pics to help you navigate your way through the campus construction. ?”

“I went there looking for 45 RPM records and boy did they not disappoint. They must have over a thousand in stock. More than I've seen in any other half-price books in the area. If you need 45s for any reason make this your first stop. Take a mat or a chair though because all of the 45s are on the lowest shelves and those floors are hard.”

“Can't say enough about this store. Textbook manager is AWESOME and so helpful. I went in to sell back a book this past week and when he scanned it it came up as no value. He said "hold on...that doesn't seem right". He checked something in his system and discovered that an instructor had just turned in an order for the book I had for the Fall term and he (the manager) hadn't had a chance to work on it yet. He quickly worked on it and my book went from no value to $35 - I originally paid $70 for it so I got half back! I feel like other stores wouldn't have done this, they would have just said oh well, no value, sorry.”
