Horrible drivers and service!!! My car was taken here after being in an accident, this is who is called by the Mansfield police department. The amount quoted over the phone will be different than what you actually owe when you get there, BUT when you get there you’ll find out they only take exact change if using cash, so you will likely pay with a card at that point, then they tack on a service fee for using your card. The driver’s, Justin, attitude was atrocious, he refused to acknowledge I was speaking to him and just walked away towards his truck, he continued to ignore me or answer any questions. You can immediately tell they don’t want you to be able to pick up your car until the fees get too high. Their charges are absolutely robbery as well!!! They have a one person can go back and look at the vehicle rule, but that didn’t apply to the customers after us. They make the rules up as they go. You don’t have a choice on using them or not when your car is towed and it is immediately obvious that they are contracted by the city and don’t “need” or care about your business or experience. Treating people like they do is absolutely unacceptable. Hopefully their bad service catches up to them and people aren’t just stuck putting up with being treated in such a disrespectful manner. Karma is coming though, they lost their Fort Worth contract?

Horrible place. Said I would never use them again after they tore the boot on the daughters car hauling it. Of course they denied it. The shop said it just happed as they could tell the grease was not dirty at all. We are from the northern state if that boot had been ripped the grease would have been that clean. This time we didn't have a choice as my other daughter was in an accident as they showed up loading as I was there. Driver didn't want to wait for a picture. The front desk person was so rude when we showed up. Plus, would only let one of us go in back at a time. While I was out back with the car. One of the tow truck drivers jumped/yelled at my daughter on how the truck was parked. Run away from this place!

As a follow-up, please be advised that this company charges the maximum rate allowed by law and then they tack on administrative fees and fuel surcharges. Complaint filed with regulatory authority.
Save yourself some $ and call a different company.
Left a review on their website, but they apparently only post the good ones.
My 74 year old mom drove off a driveway into a ditch. She called the PD and the officer told her it would probably cost around $60 to pull her out. But, Beard's charged $340 for about 10 minutes worth of work, close to half of her Social Security. She had to pay cash and she asked for a receipt; but, they told her it had to be emailed. Nothing received.
If you have $ to burn, call these crooks.

I have never used Beard's towing service, but I would recommend them solely on the actions of their drivers. I was part of a funeral procession today. Multiple of their trucks stopped on the side of the road and the drivers were standing outside their vehicles with their hats removed in reverence for our family. I was almost brought to tears. This kind of compassion is in VERY short supply these days and I was touched by their respect. Thank you Beard's. Your employees deserve recognition for their courtesy!

I showed up Monday morning to retrieve personal items from the car. They told me the car had already been released. I asked who they had released it to and they guessed, "insurance?" But it was actually still on the lot. After numerous phone calls, it WAS transferred the next day. Insurance paid them, but they still sent me a bill! And the bill included a $50 charge for notification! They did not initiate ANY notifications to me. When I called and showed up in person, they provided incorrect information. Hope I never have to deal with this business again.

Crap customer service. They have no care or respect for people that have been involved in any type of accident. Expect only one person to go back and look at or get stuff out of vehicle. If you’re cleaning out a car from a loss, a very emotional time. They don’t care. Crap company. Staff is horrible.

Absolutely ridiculous! Was charged $414 bucks for 6 miles after an accident ? I had got a quote for $140 but they couldn't be there for over an hour and I was in middle of road and cops called these crooks ! Took full freakin advantage ?

When my car got towed , they were very Quick and super nice. I feel like the prices are reasonable for how Dangerous the job could be. When I went to get my car and pay the ladies at the window were super amazing .
