I highly recommend Dr Paulsen and his staff at the W Vickery clinic. Having multiple Boston Terriers for 20 years now, I'm well educated in all eye issues. I moved here from Atlanta earlier this year & his clinic is such a pleasant change from our eye doctor there with 3-4 hour wait times (that is with an appointment). He diagnosed my senior boys issue immediately after I spent well over $1K in Atlanta over 10 months & long trips every 2 weeks. I would not trust anyone else with my fur-kids! Thank you!

You can do better elsewhere and your pet deserves more than this place can provide. The Doctor is old and spacey with no bedside manner. The ladies running the office are rude, pushy and have a cold demeanor. I asked the Doctor to call me due to an issue and some manager called that was completely rude and defensive offering no assistance. Animal Eye Clinic is not the logical choice! ******* UPDATE ******* This is a clear example of trying to cover the tracks of poor customer service by blaming the customer and making up things to support your side. I never yelled at anyone and you have the facts distorted. Ladies in your office are rude and never explained things properly. My vet was happy to fill the prescription without an office visit charge.

Amazing service. We recently moved to Texas and had not yet found a veterinary Opthalmic clinic for our senior dog with eye issues. Of course she got an ulcer and I needed to find someplace quick! Im so happy we found Animal Eye Clinic. They were able to get her seen quickly and the whole staff has been amazing. So grateful and glad we have a new eye dr for Missy

I am so impressed with this clinic and all of the staff.I have 4 cats and a dog, so needless to say, I have known a fair share of veterinarians and clinics, but this one really stands out.Dr Paulson has extensive knowledge and practice in his field and is very thorough in his assessment as well as explaining to you what is going on and why he is deciding to prescribe or not prescribe this or that. All the staff is so respectful and friendly, and most importantly, gentle with the animals.I dread going to the vet as much as my animals do because most clinics treat animals too roughly for my liking, and I feel bad telling staff how to do their job (because no one likes that) but also I feel awful just standing there while someone handles my pet in a way that I wouldn't.Today's visit with Dr Paulson was an absolute breeze and the way I always wish vet visits would be!Keep up the good work.

These people are wonderful!! My sweet daisy girl had two ulcers on her eye and we lived in Oklahoma at the time and in the process of moving to Texas. Called them and told them when we would be in town and we got an appt the next day! The facility is well cleaned and very spacious. All the staff was wonderful so sweet and helpful. Surgery day was so quick and easy, the Dr. explained everything to me and answered any questions I had and the technicians are very informative in home care rules and my sweet daisy girl is back to her normal self! I can’t thank this office enough!!

The staff at Animal Eye Clinic are so friendly and the place is really nice and clean. Dr. Paulsen didn't seem to mind my inquiries during his exam and explained what was going on with my doggo's eyeball and just really made me feel at ease with his knowledge and professionalism. I really like this place and highly recommend!

Our dog chased a chicken into a bush and injured his eye. We were referred by our vet after the eye ulcer wouldn't heal over 2 weeks. During that time, we went through multiple vet visits, countless eye drops, and the lamp shade of doom around his neck. We are happy to report that one visit to Animal Eye Clinic fixed the eye ulcer (it had a flap on the cornea that needed removal). Our dog is happy, healthy and, most importantly, hours from being 'lamp shade' free. Thanks for your professionalism and expertise in caring for our dog's eye problems.

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING! I mean it was human grade care here! My daughter's life saving service dog got an acute ulcer in each eye from being shampoo'd. Apparently dog shampoo can cause ulcers. We rushed him to the ER vet when he started showing symptoms. That ER was HORRIBLE! So unprofessional and didn't care one luck about my daughter's mental health. They told us all vets will do this: LIES! Next day our regular vet recommended we take him to this place. It is VASTLY different than the lies and turmoil the ER caused us. This place respected my daughter who has a slew of physical and mental disorders. They went above and beyond to keep them together while upholding Covid standards! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! So kind! SO PROFESSIONAL! Thank you for your common sense approach. Thank you for your kindness! Thank you for being very thorough! Thank you for being a beacon of kindness! Lastly, her dog's sight will be fine. They gave him meds and it should clear up in a few days!

Our experience with Dr. Paulsen has been nothing short of amazing. We have a miniature schnauzer that has been through a very difficult time recently (diabetes, loss of vision, etc.). This has been very hard for us, as we adore our dog and couldn't bear to see her in pain. Dr. Paulsen and his staff have done wonders for her and she is now back to her old, happy self. I have never felt like we were overcharged (especially considering he is in the very specialized field of veterinary opthamology). He is such a wonderful doctor and his entire staff is great too - you can tell they love what they do. After her surgery, we were even given a 24/7 on call number that gave us access to the staff. I would recommend them to anyone!!

So thankful Animal Eye Clinic was recommended by my vet. I was nervous about the process until meeting Dr Paulson and the entire staff. Everything went as it was fully explained and Kodi has fully healed. Even though he can be difficult with strangers in his personal space, he was treated with respect and love. Thank you all!

I'm looking for a place to take my almost 5 years old wire haired terrier/Chihuahua...after she turned one her eye started turning white and now she can't see very well..!! I can't pay an arm & leg even though I would give my arm to fix her eyes!! Anyone know a cheaper place or even pro-bono veterinarian??

Dr. Paulsen knows what he's doing! My rescue dog was 10 years old when we first brought her to see him. She had diabetes and several other major medical issues. Dr. Paulsen gave us a plan to get her healthy enough for surgery. We followed his directions and 3 months later he removed her cataracts. It was a total success and she now has perfect vision. He returned my call in the evening when she refused to eat after surgery, he then called my personal vet and gave them directions. Surgery was 18 months ago, and we now see him every 6 months for routine checkups. The staff is always courteous and professional. Both facilities in Arlington and Fort Worth are clean and beautiful.
