Your employee Raphael C. Offered to get me a better rate on my auto insurance. This was my emailed answer to the quote he sent me:
I don't think you really did your homework on this quote. Specifically me, your customer. This summer I had a new roof put on my home. ABI is my agent for my homeowner's policy, also with Mercury.
My husband died in June 2022. I sent the death certificate in to ABI. When I filed my claim for my roof, ABI told me "it was noted on your auto policy, but not the home policy." So you corrected the info with Mercury on the home policy.
Now, you have "graciously" offered to shop my auto policy for a better rate, yet you did it and included my deceased husband in said quote and you have the unmitigated gall to advise me that if I choose to accept it, I will be charged a $45 fee for you doing what the companies are already paying you for - acting as their agent and finding them additional customers.
No way am I paying you $45 for botching a simple policy shop. I can do that myself on the internet or by finding another broker that pays closer attention to important details than you do.
I will leave my policy as is for the time being.

I've been with Al Boenker Insurance for over 20 years. Now my family is leaving them. They have grown into a large company that only helps give them more money instead of what is best for the customer. It is really sad what they have turned into.

After 15 years of being a customer of al bonkers and loved so much as well as told everyone about them and how affordable they are, I am so dissatisfied with this last year. My rates doubled and when I called and made changes to renew with another insurance company the agent failed to mention it would cost me extra for them to help me find a carrier with cheaper rates. This is the first time I've ever changed. But I get it, everything costs but just tell me. And yes it was in the papers I signed and did not read. I don't care. I was on the phone 45minutes with her so just tell me. They know most people don't read all fine print!!!

Thanks, thank you cannot be expressed enough for yesterday and the recent contact with Melissa. Patience, true professional, and understanding, navigating through auto insurance renewal. Her presence as part of the staff was and is a good fit to customer service. She went the extra mile in my mind to get through my renewal process before the end of the day, by the end of the day. Again thank you is not enough, for the relief I have this morning, 25 June, have been here since 1999, after yesterday still no reason to search elsewhere for insurance.
