Very knowledgeable staff. I had been looking for help to connect a solar pump to pvc bog plumbing for quite some time. I went there and within minutes Amanda had figured out the system and found the parts I needed. The value of stores like this is the knowledge and customer service

The selection is very good at this location. They have added some non-hardware items like barbecue pits, but those are nice too. If you truly need hardware, be prepared to know what you need and know where to find it as the inexperienced staff has difficulty in assisting. They are very friendly and nice but they do not have, enough hardware knowledge to provide real help.

I went into Haltom Hardware to find a screw for my air fryer lid. Nina greeted me as I walked into the store. I told her what I was looking for. She was very helpful and spent some time trying to find a replacement. She is also very knowledgeable about where things are in the store. Down to the very aisle, shelf and placement on the shelf. She was helping other employees with her expertise. HH has a very valuable employee and is eager to help to the best of her ability. Her customer service skills are top notch! Thank you, Nina! You rock!

They keep making the decision for me whether I want to donate to whatever charity they have, when using a credit card. I do not know if they choose to donate or not. I have complained multiple times and told it will be handled, but it never stops. I quit going for a long time, but needed something so I decided to go and again they made the choice for me about donating. I had to ask whether she donated for me or not. Poor customer service. So now I will have to travel much farther away. I can not trust these people anymore.

There is a reason or 2 that i dont shop this ace. No one knows anything but you are constantly hovered by the staff. Parking is a joke especially in the evening. The employees park up front. Good luck. I will continue to go across the hwy.
