The Alamo was the only place we could find near Big Bend that was open on a Saturday afternoon, so we gave it a shot and were SO happy we did!
They got us back on the road in roughly an hour despite a fair bit of business & customer service was great. There was a nice, smoke free, air conditioned space to wait indoors plus a covered patio with a picnic table outside. Our 2 new tires got us safely across the country and were reasonably priced. There is a 4% fee for credit cards but that’s not their fault- just sharing so if someone wants to avoid the fee bring cash. Highly recommended!

Traveled through the area and stayed the night at a nearby hotel. Went to get back in the road and noticed the car’s tire sensors showed one tire was really low. Found the nail and luckily this gem was nearby. Rambo hooked us up with a patch. I was happy because we were in a rental vehicle! $30 and we were on our way again. Happy customers here!!

Was on road trip across the country and in dire need of an oil change before the next thousand miles as I was low on oil. They took care of everything professionally and promptly and the pricing was beyond reasonable. Bonus: there are cute kids assisting. ☺️

We were on a road trip from East Texas back to Phoenix when we unexpectedly got a bad tire. Traveling through Fort Stockton, Texas at night, we decided to stop and deal with it in the morning. First thing in the morning we went to local family tire shop with great reviews called Alamo tire and auto repair.
Walking into this business was a refreshing reminder of what a successful and happy family owned business should look like! There also was some kids from the families younger generation on premises. They also were in full uniform practicing wonderful costumer service skills along with their elders. This was Impressive to experience.
As for my tire repair, they knew I was at their full mercy and could have told me about anything. Bit, They looked at my need and said they could easily fix the tire. In less than 30 minutes and $30 later, I was on my way, with a great attitude.
This shop in my opinion is award winning level quality, professionalism and service and one that we rarely see today. although this mishap was a set back on our travel, I’m actually happy I was able to witness such a wonderful group of people with a successful business.

Wonderful family run business. Helped us with issue on my F150 while traveling. Thank you, Beto.

Our family was traveling and our car started shaking profusely. We googled auto repair shops and Alamo was highly recommended. When we pulled up to the shop, the front office staff was extremely courteous and helped us right away. Turned out we were on the verge of a blowout, so they replaced three of our tires and got us back on the road right away. Being out of town travelers and having them diagnose the problem and fix it right away was super helpful. Our family appreciated their professionalism and hospitality. We are
extremely grateful!

Horrible service. Cam in to get a patch done on my tire, Monica dropped my rim face first on the ground. They took my number down but never called me when it was ready and when I called to check she gave me attitude. I asked if I could look at the rim before I pay and she rolled her eyes at me. Horrible customer service I do not recommend this place. Whoever the owner is needs to reevaluate their staff.

Our campervan broke down while we were visiting Big Bend National Park. After being turned down by a few places in Alpine and the Ford dealership in Ft. Stockton, the dealership sent us a sheet with some local mechanics' info and recommended we call Alamo first. Monica picked up the phone and was extremely helpful in sourcing the part we needed ASAP while we got a tow. They then fixed our problem (needed a new alternator) while we waited, and allowed us to resume our trip as fast as possible.
If the owner is reading this -- The folks at the front desk (especially Monica) are great; please keep them there at all cost :-) It would have also been nice to access to the bathroom and WiFi (especially during a long wait) but we understand there are insurance requirements etc. Nonetheless, we appreciated the accommodation and all the help!

Real bad service don’t come here…I went for alignment and they tried to sell me a tire I refused..then they charged me $150 just to tell me the tire wasn’t good enough…if you want to give your money away with no service done this is the place!!

Great service. They're very transparent with prices , which then falls back on you to decide if you'd like to proceed or not. I only got the oil change cause the second service was above my budget, however that did not take away from their friendly and knowledgeable customer service.
Bonus 5 stars for also being open on a Sunday! Total life savers. Thank you :)
