Would not recommend. We've used H&R Block for many years and the service was great. The past 3 years the prices have gone up drastically and the service continues to get worse. This year our tax preparation ran us $500 (2 incomes, Etsy business, and some retirement. Nothing more than the average person). Our "tax professional" knocked our taxes out very quick, we signed the documents and now it disappeared from the system. I've had to make 2 calls to customer service the first one they scheduled a call that we never received from our tax professional, I sent her a message to please give me a call with no response. As soon as the charge hit my card they absolutely ghosted us. I'm done with this place, i'll either file on my own or find another company. We used different offices under the H&R Block name between 2 different states and I think the company as a whole is just going down hill.

this place is a scam. my husband and i were charged $300 for a simple federal tax and state taxes. the lady DIDN’T even submit my husband’s state taxes. she printed them out so he could mail them off himself, so now we have to spend MORE money. i could type in numbers for free sitting down on my own computer. but i figured i would give them a chance since she said highest refund (which it wasn’t!) i got a better refund doing it myself off turbo tax, but my husband had already pawned off our money to this scammy place. and she told me it would only be $87??? this place feeds off vulnerable military people and should be ashamed. everyone working in there. i’ll never go back, and i hope all my friends stay away from here too.
