They have unfriendly staff working in the ER, I left and went to an urgent care they were friendly but couldn’t help me I needed to be seen for horrible asthma and had texted positive for Covid 19 , the lady at Darnall ER said they did not treat for Covid for me to read the sign I told her get do not have my reading glasses so she proceeded to let me know they do not check for Covid 19 that they are not equipped to test for it, I had tested positive from a home test and could barely breathe she suggested for me to go to urgent care. She was rude. This happened at around 8:30-9:30am they gave cameras I was to ill to check for her name she was older lady shoulder hair length, if they care enough they can check cameras. I will submit a formal complaint as soon as I’m feeling better. And no longer have Covid. Mrs. Anderson

If you have a child with disabilities, then this is not the place for you. My son is nonverbal and autistic. I came with 3 of my children, which 2 out of the 3 needed to be seen for their check up. There were 2 nurses, one which was in training and the other was the trainer. The trainer made alot of smarking remarks, how my husband needs to be there to help me (my spouse is in active duty). How even though my son is autistic, he needs to stop moving so much etc. As a mother of a son with disabilities, is already hard for me to make him listen and the last thing I need is someone making such hurtful remarks. The new nurse however was very helpful. Even so, I will be changing my children to an off post doctor, one who's nurses are knowledgeable about autism and other disabilities.Save you some time and get a off post doctor.

Just wow! After visiting many different military hospitals, this Blood draw dept takes the lead in being ridiculous. As a formar phlebotomist i know the process and the staff here have no cares in the world for peoples time, they are chatting and laughing their shift away calling patients one every 30Mins. Sadly it’s the same with almost every department I have used here. The disrespect the military receives is beyond sad. The worst medical care and attention for the men and woman who give up their personal life for our country, who are willing to die so that other people can live free and enjoy their families.At this point I believe inmates are receiving better medical care and attention. Then people receive here.

I went due to an injury i had substained the nurse that took care of me was amazing when she found out i was being transferred she game me a fast charger and made sure i was as comfortable as could be and made sure her higher ups made the best decision for me i know darnell isnt the best but we need more nurses like her saw i had a big problem she took her time made sure i got a room and made sure I was okay and had what i needed for what was to come all the way up to the point of me leaving to go to the other hospital. I cant remember your name but thank you for taking your time to make sure i was taken care and had what i needed! We need more people at darnell like her she was amazing! Thank you my wife and son thank you too! Wish there where more like you it probably would make darnell a million times better!

Bad staff here, months waiting for a CT scan for my son, almost 4 months since my son's main doctor referred me to an ear specialist, the specialist ordered an ultrasound, but then a CT scan is needed to better see the problem and I'm still waiting, honestly it's a problem that no one wants to do anything about, like you're the doctor, you really look for the doctor because you want to know what the problem is. The Radiology department told me that they would be in charge of making the referral for the CT Scam and in the end I don't know what they did. They need to take their work more seriously.

The hospital itself looks good but the staff are not welcoming and have poor attitudes. My wife was pregnant and went into premature labor and the doctor wouldnt take her in becuase she had to be certain amount of weeks pregnant. She was already dilated 4cm and our baby was already head down ready to come out but instead we had to go to temple 30 min away where they immediately took her in.

I’m not from around that area, but just wanted to give a heads up just to be a warning there are some people out there that may be wanting to date other people and asking you to do things that you’re not comfortable with in terms of asking for personal information, I think everyone knows why I’m going with this just be very careful. I wanna share this just for safety sake because I’ve been through some situations, and I don’t wanna name names of the person who I am talking about because I believe she works at that hospital, but I have no way of verifying it , because it With the HIA app or some type of privacy, patient doctor or nurse privilege I’m not sure but please be careful. Thank you.

If I could give no stars, I would! This facility is very discriminatory, especially against service members. Care is care and human rights are human rights regardless of race, gender, rank, civility or military status. As a care provider myself, I am disappointed to know that facilities as this one would rudely turn down care to someone that willingly sacrifices their life for them!

How about SOMEONE JUST ANSWER THE PHONE! This is a 24 hr hospital. Families are concerned for their Loved Ones and someone’s job/post/responsibility is to man the phones! Very Disappointing and Frustrating!

Please stay away from this hospital. If you ever need an inducement, they will push a C-section on you after they mess your uterus up to proceed with inducement and don’t even there to ask for a diaper or wipes or anything because once they give you one that’s all they think you’re gonna need and get an attitude like it’s coming out their paycheck ! Couldn’t believe the hospital that I had. I couldn’t even ask for a bag of diapers but they tell you don’t bring diapers and wipes for your newborn formula because they tried to push breast-feeding. And they give you formula if you need it that’s what the OB says but when you go into the labor and delivery room, it’s a whole different story. Also, make sure you go to another hospital unless you want a crucial pain And be traumatized for the rest of your life because they don’t know how to do incisions, or how to put you to sleep, if needing a C-section I felt everything in that table having my first kid the worst experience ever I don’t think I’ll ever be the same after this !
