“This fine store is still "new" (open 2-years?) and is attracting customers from a wide radius that includes both the USA & EUM. When I cycle through this amazing "last chance" community (if Eastbound), I almost always stay at the closeby budget Ft. Hancock Motel. In fact, I overnighted there 25MAR2023, repairs on my "FrankenBike in room 26 meant being too late to eat at Angies Restaurant (now "Cowboy's Land") across the road beside the Shell station, so I Gimpwalked to this excellent store to buy microwaveable meals and a bag of ice. Because the motel currently does not have a working ice machine, I almost always buy a bag of ice here for the night, along with any other consumables that satisfy my cravings. The closeness of nutrition and their being open has improved Ft. Hancock immensely. Not only is it close to the last original 1-lane bridge/most Eastern POE in this region, but it is just West of Texas I-10 exit 72/just East of the railroad tracks, and a mile/km East of the Texas 20/Spur 148 intersection/USPS building in the flood plain. I highly recommend this fantastic store, and certainly give it my coveted "iWheel of Approval!"”
