“Comparable to a motel 6. The only benefit you have is your on post, so they have to maintain a certain level of qaulity and safety.
Aka no bed bugs present and no sex trafficking in the halls or parking lot.
Beds are very worn but sleepable you may wind up with a sore back if you have an extended stay. Sheets comeback stained so make sure you check them before you tuck your self in for the night. The beds themselves don't seem stained atleast in the room I was given and again no bed bugs. The carpets are very old and worn and definitely could be changed especially if you have allergies, but there are plenty of rooms with just tile and laminate.
The rooms are very humid even though El Paso is not. Not exactly sure why. But if you are immune compromised or have severe allergies this might not be your best stay.
My bathroom had a drip in the ceiling from the room upstairs. Not sure where it's dripping but you can here it every time someone uses the rest room or turns on a faucet. Last for 5 to 30 mins depending. But no visible watter on the ceiling. So if you are sensitive to noise when you sleep probably look else where. I alerted management on the first night but they haven't done anything about it. We are here 15 nights.
Also the walls are very very thin and you can hear everything around you. Neighbors and hallmates.
I highly recommend not getting a corner room if you don't like the sound of traffic. Every maid will park outside your door and every neighbor rushes by or just hangs out to chat. (Very very noisy)
Covid seemed to help alleviate the cost of cleaning for most hotels these days as they will only offer it to you one day out of the week. They will give you an assigned day at check in. Doesn't matter the duration of Stay. They will also use the excuse they are short staffed on your cleaning days ( but they are on a hiring freeze and overworking what little staff they have and if you call for service on a non cleaning day they will flat right deny you and tell you, you can pickup your linens at the front desk. ?(update they came and cleaned my room 1 hr after this review)
Ie....be prepared to bring your own cleaning supplies for a tidy and clean space if your here for an extented stay. ? the floors get dirty very very fast bc of the nasty hall carpets and the beautiful weather of El Paso.
They do offer a complimentary breakfast in the morning, traditional eggs meat and pancakes. Not the best but not the worst and it's free!!
The main lobby, halls, and laundry (also a free perk!!) is kept neat at all times and the pool area is very nice, it's a very refreshing dip with lots of chairs and lounges to cool you off during the heat. ( they do a great job maintaining the pool) There are 3 grills that work great but not kitchens in the rooms. You will get a sink, a small fridge with microwave, no utensil, plates, cups or basics but you will have storage to bring your own.
If your here for a pcs stay I recommend:
Basic cleaning supplies for everyday (broom/mop) and a good multipurpose cleaner. Sponges and dishes for your everyday needs (fridge is small but grocery store is across the street) get an airfryer or electric skillet for simple meals. Bring your spatula or cooking utensils. Earplugs headphones for the light sleeper or a noise machine And maybe a carbon airfilter sheet to put over grates if your allergy prone. The dog walk is not really a thing but there is a dog park just down the road in walking distance; And they do offer a fenced area with dirt for your pups outside needs.
Generally you should have a decent stay, the staff is very friendly and kind whether your at the front desk or talking to maintenance or even housekeeping. They are just limited by rules and regulations from uppermanagement

10 Henry Trost Ct, El Paso“Rooms: Elegant and roomy.
Walkability: You are right downtown and within walking distance to Civic center and one of the prettiest ballparks you’ve seen.
Food and drinks: Always good.
Noteworthy details: One of the most elegant and beautiful hotels in central El Paso. Quick walk to Civic center and downtown restaurants and shops. The bar sits under a huge circular stain glass ceiling. One of the most romantic spots in town. You have to go to the rooftop bar at sunset. Make sure you call ahead. Scenic views of downtown.”
“What a great stay we had last weekend! Quiet, so clean and well maintained. Great value. We will be back next time we are in El Paso! Only recommendation I would make to the owners is that next on your budget should be to replace the towels with more luxurious, thicker ones. That will make it an even better stay & value for the money.”
“Beautiful rooms, amazing look.
The AC in the one I was in was out, fan ran all night (which was a for of white noise to me) and no matter what I did with the thermostat it never could off.”

Rooms: Pretty clean rooms, and nice sheets and bedding
Food and drinks: Breakfast was top notch, with birthday cake waffles and omelets that all the kids loved”
“The gentleman at check-in was very polite and welcoming. Upon entering its obvious the staff and management take pride in their work; the hotel was very clean and all amenities were in working order. The guest rooms are very clean comfortable and spacious. Highly recommend the area. And yes there is a parking fee, but it's only $10. Not a big deal as eveyone seems to make it.”
“This is the second time we stayed at Stanton House driving home from West Texas. We love this property. It is beautiful, the artwork is stunning, the service is great, and the food is delicious! It’s easy to get to on and off I 10. Our server Eva in Taft Diaz was adorable and the food was terrific. Our valet, Josh, was charming and helpful. Anytime our travels take us through El Paso, we will stay here.”
“Everything was great we even had a kitchen and nice bathroom. Beds were super (two queens) the only thing was breakfast had eggs and bacon that were bad. I loved they had apple juice and yoghurt, cereal and it was good it was available. if you are looking for breakfast that is good it is a no but if you just want anything and not be hungry this is great. Edit: we stopped for another night on the way back the beds are good. we had a different room again with a small kitchenette, I had hoped to wash up the kids in the little bath but this room had a standing shower that didn’t allow me to do it without having to shower with them. When the room temperature went up it became clear that the carpet gave off a certain smell like liquorice water (faint). The second visit was supposed to redeem the first review that I thought might’ve been harsh but the first visit was the better one. Breakfast was better than last time with scrambled eggs but again nothing overly special. For stops and work this place is fine, elevator is decent size. Staff seems friendly and helpful food items downstairs like little pizzas sodas are for sale. Overall definitely seems clean, some fixtures need some maintenance. Soaps provided but nothing overly fancy. Airco/heater worked. Tv worked but didn’t use.”
“One of the best Hiltons we have stayed in, the rooms are very comfortable and do not have carpet (allergies appreciate it) the staff is friendly and you can see that they are happy, the kitchen staff was super super super friendly, the ladies They are very attentive, they even offer help with serving or whatever, it is the first hotel I have been to and the 2 ladies in the kitchen are so nice and friendly, they had everything super clean and well stocked, I think one of them is called Letty, super friendly and very hardworking, but both of them are very nice, the only complaint like in all Hiltons would be the cleaning in the rooms, they skip it or don't go etc, but in general super super good, we will return to stay now for another 2 weeks, I forgot to take more photos lol”

“Our air conditioner broke in our home and we had to immediately find somewhere to stay at 3am and Candlewood Suites was more than helpful! They are pet friendly and their pet fee is very cheap compared to other hotels. The staff is very friendly and offered my dog some treats when we got here :) The room is also giant and comes with a full functioning kitchen! If I ever have to leave my house again I will definitely come here :) and will be recommending everyone I know from out of town to stay here :)”

6680 Gtwy Blvd E, El Paso“Convenient location for exploring El Paso. Plenty of food places nearby and there's a gas station across the road. They do allow pets, but the weight is limited to 25lbs FYI. I didn't know this until we were there and checking in. We stayed with our German Shepherd, but we were careful to make sure that she wasn't disruptive or causing a scene anywhere. No one seemed to care.
The room was clean and nice. The breakfast is included and wasn't bad, but isn't earth shattering either. Just scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, a yogurt bar, and muffins/bagels.
BTW we could see Mexico from our window.”

6355 Gateway Blvd W, El Paso“I had my daughter’s 20th Birthday here in one of the 2 bedroom suites and it was more gorgeous than we could have ever imagined. There was two bedrooms along with the living that had a sofa sleeper which was more than enough room for us to all stay over. The whole reason was for the Indoor Pool. Staff member named Crystal was very helpful in making sure we got to swim before the night was up. Breakfast was on point. And we were able to enjoy ourselves without anyone complaining about the noise. I highly recommend and will definitely go back
Rooms: Were very fancy for a hotel.”
“The hotel is clean, tidy and the service is good.... The bad thing is the guarantee charge of $50. I have been waiting for a week for the return of said guarantee, it does not seem fair that it is in this way that they deceive people”

11825 Gateway Blvd W, El Paso“I’ve stayed in this hotel before. great customer service and the rooms are very clean. We are locals but we reserve here and there for the indoor pool. However, it has brought to my attention the great reviews about how clean the hotel is. Recognize the people who really deserve, the people under those who wear ties and feel entitled. El Paso believe it or not is a really small city and you’ll be surprised the stories people have to tell. In this case, about this hotel and its management. Obviously I am not saying names but thank god this wonderful lady that I met doesn’t work here anymore and you would be surprised the amount of stories she has about her and the people who are currently in charge of cleaning this beautiful hotel. I would not say her name but I would say that based on the stories, these ladies are being mistreated by their manager Cristy. Cristy is very unethical, unprofessional and abuses of her power. If you are the owner and happened to read this, you should ask around and care more for those who are scared to raise their voice because they depend so much on this job. If you are a customer please stay in this hotel, it is super clean and nice environment but please be kind to the people who maintain this place. And if you are Cristi, one day you’ll have someone that actually stands for others and girl believe it or not you won’t feel that entitled. This is not a false review, I can provide the last time I stay at this hotel with pictures and everything and I can use my voice in social media because listening to those stories I felt like I could write a book like in the movie “The Help”. Owners! Please listen to the people, they are the ones working hard to feed you. Give your employees a break.

Walkability: If you are young or physically fit, then like the university students, you can walk everywhere within a 1 mile radius.”

303 Texas Ave, El Paso“Good location in downtown. walkable to several restaurant and coffee shops. The tile in the shower can be slippery, and the shower head doesn't work too well. Front desk staff at night and morning are friendly and helpful.”
“The Soluna is in an odd area. There is a budget motel next door, and a sports bar right across the street (that seemed busy, but it was Sat night.) It strikes me as an older hotel that had a facelift awhile back (not new, but also not ages ago.) Checkin was easy and there was plenty of parking around back. The decor is medium browns and…calming.
The room was spacious enough, the bathroom decent, the fridge definitely worked (we used it), and there was a microwave and blackout curtains. The bed was alright - standard med firm (not pillow top or anything), the bed was made nicely and the linens soft, and all the lamps have outlets for device charging.
The continental breakfast is what you’d expect - yogurt, muffins, toast, juice, coffee, fruit, and someone was making waffles. (At least it looked like a waffle maker.)
Not sure if it was just our bad timing, but the jacuzzi was not heated. Neither was the pool (not really a complaint, just still kinda cold- summer temps hadn’t warmed it yet.) Also, no loungers like in their pictures-and the pool area pic is the most flattering angle for the pool area - it’s wedged in a corner and even smaller than it looks. If lounging poolside is your idea- this ain’t a relaxing kinda spot. My only other complaint was the cable…no channel listing provided, no channel channel so you could see what was on (or soon to be). And the remote sucked (were tech-savvy enough to manage using such things- this one was either worn out or needed new batteries.)
Overall, I’d definitely consider coming back but I’d call to check on the jacuzzi (I was really looking forward to that amenity.)”
“We loved this hotel! The staff was really the best! We were arriving very late so I emailed them ahead of time and to also let them know that it was our first time in Texas. They knew who we were when we arrived and welcomed us warmly to Texas, even leaving a Texas souvenir in our room!
In the morning again they remembered who we were and we felt welcomed and cared for. The room was clean and the hotel was very close to the airport. The breakfast was yummy and also very clean.
If we are ever in El Paso again we will stay here for sure!
Rooms: We got two queens and a sofa bed in one room...perfect for traveling with our three boys.”
“It's a good place to stay weekly, which is just a little bit too high. Compared to Mesa Inn. Which daily rates are way better than others. I gave it a 5 star because it is convenient place to stay for cheap daily rates
Nearby activities: Close to downtown
Walkability: You can walk downtown or hospital fast food near and Utep”
“When we first arrived, check in was very easy & fast that helped considering we were exhausted. We were greeted with a warm friendly smile. The front desk agent Stephanie was especially accommodating, prefessional, and extremely delightful. Stephanie made sure after checking in that we had enough towels and offered to be available for anything else we might need. Thank you Stephanie!
We stayed one night the room was clean & spacious. Would definitely stay again.”
