The boutique is very cute. Has lots of amazing quality accessories. It's very bright and colorful but not in a tacky way. Four star because it didn't have plus size options. Like at all.

3 employees and 3 customers including me yet I was not greeted. Unfortunately I was shopping for a person who specifically asked for a gift card from this place, otherwise I would've walked out without spending my money here.

I wish I would have read the reviews before walking into the retail shops in downtown Forney. I was finishing up some work at local coffee shop and decided check some of the stores. As I walked into Groovy's there were about 7-10 ppl in there and within seconds the employees began to whispering and following me around. The store is fairly small so it became very obvious. This is obviously in their training and not a one off. This store isn't black girl friendly.

Great selection of styles. Friendly staff. If you're going to buy name brand, do yourself and favor and shop local. Not only will the prices be better but less of a chance many others will be wearing the same thing as you.

Nice establishment, very clean and organized. My only complaint is that this place is not meant for melanin women to shop. We went in there to have a look around and felt like the workers watched and judged us from the time our hand touched the door. After looking around I was too afraid to leave without buying anything because I didn't want them to think we were trying to steal. I ended up buying a candle and when the lady on the register bagged my item the second lady went behind the counter look in the bag as if I could have reached over the counter and slip something in the bag. I was too afraid to even touch anything because I didn't not want them to think I stole anything. Needless to say I will not be supporting this business any more.

ZERO stars if I could! I have never been so disgusted by a shop in my life and I’m from NY!I am a white female. I was with two people who were not. From the moment we stepped foot in the door, one woman ran to the back of the shop to WATCH us and it was very apparent we were being profiled. Without knowing WHO we were, how dare you think we were going to steal! Not that I feel the need to explain it, but want you to understand your poor treatment of anyone. The woman I was with is a BAD A$$ military veteran and we had her son with us who has Asperger syndrome. He is one of the kindest souls you could meet. Just because of his appearance and how he decides to feel comfortable, you JUDGED! Shame on you all!The other reviews on here with your bad welcome and attitudes are not lying. Your 5 star reviews are fake and probably friends and family.I will never be back. I hope you learn to accept people for who they are and not assume everyone is there to steal. You’re losing valuable business, but you clearly don’t care. Don’t even try to make any excuses and give a bunch of blah blah. It’s lies to make people shop there. Good luck, true colors always shine.

If I could give a NEGATIVE FIVE STARS I would. I was exploring the downtown area with a neighbor as we are both new to the area. I'm building a half a million dollar house nearby. While exploring downtown Forney we happened upon this shop. Curious we stopped in. At first it seemed like a nice place to do business. The ladies behind the counter greeted us as we walked in. Then EVERYTHING went wrong. We were watched as walked through the shop. One lady actually left the counter and followed us as we looked around. It was as if they were expecting us to steal something. Or maybe the thought of me touching something that their family or friends would possibly purchase discussed them. Either way,... I would NEVER spend one red cent there or do any business with them. In this day and age it's completely uncalled for, in poor taste and down right TACKY!!! Please AVOID this place until they learn manners, respect and tact. Do Better groovy!!!

Such cute clothes and pants but I couldnt stay long enough to shop because I felt judged and unwelcomed by the emoplyees the whole 5 minutes I was in there. I was the only one not talked to nor greeted out of the few other ladies in there, and everytime I turned around they were staring at me with such judgy eyes. Brought me too tears. Ill do my shopping online though because I really loved the clothing!
