Very friendly staff and very informative of what was going on with my vehicle. I work in the construction business so I do Understand markup pricing. They are a little bit more expensive than other shops but then again the specific job I had to have done on my vehicle is not a cheap or easy job to begin with so I knew it was going to be up there in price. They were very busy and it took a while to get my car fixed but once it was in they had it for a shorter time than expected. Car runs great and does have a warranty on the parts.

First time inspection and registration in Texas and I went to Carter's for the inspection. Called this morning a nice gentleman told me I didn't need an appt so I went in a short while later. Just as I arrived it started pouring rain. Inspector Brenda let me stay in my car while she connected the device for the inspection. She even went the extra mile and brought towels out to wipe the inside of my door from when I had opened it. Brenda was definitely customer service oriented!!! Then entire staff was kind and courteous. Not only did I get the inspection done quickly, that enabled me to go a few blocks to the court house and get my new tag! Highly recommend Carter Automotive and Brenda!

If you’re looking for honest and quality repairs, then this is the place. Expect to have to wait a bit longer than usual to have any repairs done but that’s just a testament to how busy they are due to so many people trusting to bring their cars in here.

Really pleased with Carter Automotive of Forney! Our check engine light came on, we brought the car in to get checked, the owner took the extra time to explain what everything meant and gave great recommendations. Didn’t try to up sell us, just did some quick troubleshooting. He did it all free of charge. Great business and customer service. We will be back in the future for sure!!!!
