I have curly hair and asked to get my hair trimmed up before a wedding I was invited to go to. I asked for the front to be cut of an inch and the sides faded, the barber shop felt professional however, they cut the sides of too high and cut it too short. My hair now looks stupid and am never going there again.

Such a scam. Tony is rude, dismissive and completely messed up my hair cut. It was my first time in and he didn’t even provide a consultation before cutting. He was also working on 2 other clients while doing my hair. He clearly didn’t care and was trying to get me in and out as fast as possible without actually make sure the hair cut was good.
The photos on the website are misleading and the hair tools were not clean. I feel so cheated and disappointed! :(

This place is a S—- Show. I have been a customer for more than 20 years but noticed for the last few times that things were getting sloppy and I will never go there again My hair is orange and when I complained I was told “well you have no roots” I had to go to Ulta and spend 75.00 on products to try to repair. I then I had to go to another hairstylist to try to fix the color.(another 175.00) My hair is now falling out as a result of all the products (I have very fine hair) I was charged FULL price (210.00) never offered a discount. I should have known that Tony was not really interested when he was taking orders for the restaurant and ordering supplies while he was working on my hair. Do not go there unless you want to waste 4/5 hours and have 3/4 kids from restaurant next door working on your hair.If there was a minus star I would give it .

This salon is an absolute disaster! Tony was great until he and salon got so big! He used to do haircut , color, shampoo and even styling but now you’ll have at minimum 3-6 people performing services! I saw other reviews where he literally left product on too long and BURNED my hair also. He told me it’s because “I’m getting old”! By the way, we were celebrating 40th birthday at that particular visit. Not “old” at all. Please be very careful if you’re in search of salon! Do not go to this place! They are unprofessional and unfriendly.Services: Hair coloring

I’ve been coming to Tony since I was 14 and I’m 19 now.I won’t be going to anybody else for my hair ever because nobody can ever get me the perfect platinum like they can, they’re always very sweet and interested in communicating with their clients and always make sure their clients are happy and satisfied. I used to love Tony when he had his Irving, TX Salon off MacArthur in Coppell. Tony was humble, loving and passionate about his clients getting the best work at a fair price but he met his wife who took over and controls everything. She is so greedy and dishonest. I tried to tolerate her because of Tony but my hair was never healthy and took a couple years to get it full and healthy again She forces products on you that you don't need and I tipped 25% on top of product cost but you don't tip owners or for products. There is a true reason why all the salons closed besides one and it's because of people not liking how they became so greedy and Tony stopped caring about his clients and stopped being passionate about his work over the money Reason he's hurried to get to the next person is to cash out. You are a $250 bill to them.

Highly recommend this place ! I live 30 minutes away from this salon and it is well worth the drive. I’ve been to many salons in the past and have never felt fully satisfied with how my hair looked until now. The staff is super sweet and Trini did a great job with coloring my hair. I love it ! Me and my mom have been going to Tony Chao for years now and we love it. Our hair always looks amazing. The staff is always super nice and gives you exactly what you want. I would definitely recommend going here.

They did an amazing job on my hair. Day one, I only got it cut, which was a very good job. Day 2 I got my hair colored and roots touched up along with another color after the first color. After 3 hours, my hair turned out amazing. The stylist and other staff are amazing and very polite and friendly. I highly recommend going here.

I have been going to Tony Cao salon for 14 years. Absolute best at platinum blonde. Also best hair cut. Full highlight, toner and cut with style in 2 hours everytime. Can always just walk in or call an hour ahead of time. They work so quick and are consistent everytime. I am very particular about my color and they pull off my platinum blonde perfectly everytime. The environment is a fast pace, no nonsense feel, so just be prepared for that, but the thought of a highlight and cut taking more than 2 hours sounds horrifying to me. Tony Cao salon really is the best, especially with blondes. It costs me $185, but I only need to go 4 times a year, so it's completely worth it.

I walked in and I was greeted by a literal Victoria Secret model. Tony and Trini’s daughter was the most beautiful, smart, talented woman I’ve ever seen. She colored my hair and Tony cut my hair with flare and love. Trini is nothing short of an angel. She gave me a perm that rivals no other. showed them a picture of exactly what i wanted and they made it happen. also took great care to. explain why certain things might not work right away as far as my highlight because going too blonde would have damaged my hair. very friendly staff and best most relaxing hair wash i’ve had in a long time! highly recommend a little more than what i would normally spend but you get what you pay forServices: Hair styling
