I really appreciate the friendliness and cleanliness of this store. The team that I encounter is always friendly and willing to help. I have had a few encounters with some managers a they have always been positive and kind. I frequent this store because it is close to my home but more so for the environment I always walk into. Thank you!

I was on a grocery shopping trip a few weeks ago, and i was on my way to the feminine care isle. While I was shopping, I overheard a manager (I think her name was Nina from what i heard) speaking down and extremely disrespectfully to other employees. Don’t shop here unless you want to support sad old women who aren’t happy with their lives.

I was at your store around 9am this morning to grab a birthday cake and card, I got a good service, b/c I come to you store at least 2x a week the least, I forgot to grab the receipt, called an hour later to let them know, they said they will call me back that was about 10am, did not get a phone call here is 4pm called back and customer service answer, I explained the issues, she said it is like finding a needle in a haystack, I said I gave you the whole day to find one receipt, she commented " do you want to come and find it yourself and put the phone down with out saying can I put you on hold, you guys need to put a good customer reservice person in your customer service department. most likely a people person. all your cashier are good, just the customer service needs an improvement.

The lady that works at the customer service desk in the mornings is very rude when you ask a question. I ended up finding another associate who politely answered my question. I usually have great customer service at the store, except for the customer service lady.

The deli is hit or miss. When the chicken is fresh it’s amazing. When it’s not it’s hard and it’s dry. When you see a few pieces left and you ask when they will be cooking another batch the employees seem to have no clue. All products on a steam table have an expiration time, this comes with any food safety. There should be some form of recorded when it was pulled. The product can not just sit until it’s sold. So I have to ask why your employees have no idea when they will be cooking again? Is the motto “it’s not old til it’s sold” fully enforced at this location. And why are your employees so dismissive and rude to a customer when they are asked?

The sushi lady, Asi is wonderful. She made me a fresh sushi box when they were out of a common one I get. She also tracked me down one day when the store was slow to replace a sushi box that was at date for a fresh one.

I don’t believe I’ve ever let a review on any business before, but the treatment I had at Tom Thumb was simply unacceptable. The cashiers were alright, mostly comprised of young kids who can’t control the fact that their systems are incredibly dated and never pull out the right prices. But my god, the customer service rep is so rude! She was extremely uninterested in my problems and every time I come to her it’s always a fight trying to rightfully get my money back. It’s not like im pulling these deals out of nowhere, I clipped them on the app! On top of that, she was very slow and I wasted so much time. It’s not like this happens every time, but when it does it certainly ruins my day.
