Brenda Rodriguez was phenomenal with our 1st home in Lewisville. Greatest Agent in Texas. We love our new home and have moved from Florida to the Great State!
The Seller’s Agent also with Ebby, Jill Smith on the other hand was far from professional. She became irate by the fact that I wanted to utilize my VA Loan rather than conventional. I have shared her less than admirable thoughts on VA home loans with all my brothers and sisters (Veterans) on our own military social media sites. SHAME on her. Period!

Don't use this firm if you have morals and ethics. This real estate company employs bad realtors with questionable practices. They put their firm at risk and it will be a matter of time before the agents, firm is sued, if they haven't already.

The worst experience I ever had renting a property. I lived in a property that was managed by Ebby Halliday for a year and It took 2-3 months for a them to address simple maintenance requests. They never fixed a garage door that was not working. I have manually open and close the door for 6 months.They automatically deducted an extra month rent after my lease ended and it's been more than 6 weeks and they have given me a final statement or refund of extra month rent.Whenever I had inquired about a pending maintenance request the property manager say that the contractor is busy or did not show up. The contractor says the the landlord did not pay but the maintenance item will get fixed only after I auto-pay that month's rent on the due date.The property manager does not pick up my calls and neither does director of property management. It is very frustrating to talk to people that always try to trick you.When I had told the property manager that I will report the fact the issue was fixed to his manager. He said it will only take me longer if I do so. And it was actually true because the manager never responds to emails or phones as well.

My dad chose an agent from here, Sam Ghazaleh from an online RE referral agency. I had no idea he was thinking of selling his place as I'm out of state & he's never mentioned it. I found out about it purely by accident when I put his address in my maps and the listing came up. I contacted the agent about the situation as I have power of attorney. The mobile home was not repairable, in disrepair & needed to be removed along with tons of junk on the property. I agreed to change the listing to provide for a credit at closing to provide for removal of the MH & junk based on a few quotes I got. We got a very lowball offer that we declined to counter. The same person had his business partner make an offer a few days later to "waive" the $15k credit & reduce the price by that amount. They would take care of cleaning, we would just remove the travel trailer, RV, vehicles & two other flatbed trailers as I was asked to put in writing what we would agree to remove prior. The buyer accepted the as-is portion and did not make any notes in comments under that part of the contract. The buyer, who is a RE broker & investor, added the word "trash" under special provisions that Sam missed. I regret not having my local RE agent review it before the contract was signed. I don't know, what I don't know, I'm not a RE professional. My local RE agent looked at it later & said that was too vague and as-is is as-is. My dad is elderly and not physically able to clean up the property. Sam would tell me things weren't getting cleaned and I reminded him my dad can't do alot and my brother is lazy and won't do anything to help & that's why the 15k credit is there. We had some salvage people taking daily large flatbed loads of junk off and were willing to continue the job past closing and their pay was what they were getting for free that had value, which was quite alot. The whole idea was to give the credit, have a company come put & take care of & we get him moved to a safe senior apartment. The buyer ended up getting not only the $15k knocked off the price, but the property cleaned up too as he refused the original closing date due to too much "trash" still on the property. This transaction was a nightmare & very stressful for my family. If I hadn't gotten involved, it would have been even worse, I don't think anything would have been removed including 2 people living on the property. You hire an agent for their "expertise". The offer & contract should have not only been better reviewed by the agent who should be familiar with the different parts of a Texas RE contract, but the broker should review also. The only reason I made it 2 stars and not 1 is because the broker, Jason Bell stepped up and did the right thing by taking care of paying to get rest of the junk off the property. If you're a seller just be careful and have a second set of eyes look at a contract to make sure it matches the offer you were sent.

Our agent - Nancy Anderson - could not have been better! We were buying long distance in a hot market during COVID, so this wasn’t the easiest transaction, but Nancy provided exceptional service from end to end, and we are now in a lovely home, in a great neighborhood, after a smooth transition.
