Glenna and the crew at CMC are the absolute best. They are world class trainers and its clear they love what they do and care for the animals in their care like their own. Our Lola and Milo are healthier and more obedient today and we're so happy and thankful for the CMC Dog Training team!

Such kind, caring and professional staff. We’ve been trusting them with our sweet German shepherd girls for 13 years so far.

Our dog Neo, a standard black Schnauzer was a very cute and loving puppy; he loved being with other dogs - including those behind fences so we brought him to CMC for on-leash bootcamp and he came back with great habits; he sat, came, down, stay and worked great in the house and the yard...but there was a piece missing...Neo, being a schnauzer is very strong willed and still wanted to visit every dog we saw while on our walks. We tried all different types of training techniques but nothing changed. We knew this dog was smart, loving and really didn't want to be a "bad" dog; we just didn't know how to communicate the full "leave it" message to him. So we decided to send him to CMC for off-leash boot camp and IT WAS A GAME CHANGER!Many people think that if a dog walks next to you on a walk that somehow that dog is not having a good time and that is so NOT true! We now have freedom to walk without any pulling, strong correction or fear that he'll go running off to a dog that is not dog-friendly. We play games on our walk, using all the commands that we learned - IT IS SO MUCH FUN!!Neo is such a smart, funny, loving and communicative dog and I don't think we would be able to appreciate all of his wonderful traits without the training (especially off-leash training).Thank you Taylor and the entire staff of CMC. If we decide to get Neo a companion, that dog will definitely be trained at CMC!Marilyn DempseyPonder, TX

The people that work at CMC Dog Training are the absolute best humans. They love on my dogs and make them feel comfortable when they stay for boarding and they trained all my labs in basic manners and leash walking. My dogs are excited to go visit with them when I have to travel and before I found CMC, my dogs did not like to stay at a kennel. I recommend you give them a chance and you will Love them too.

Where to start. I think that CMC, Susan and Glenna have been a part of our lives for about the last 10 years. We welcomed a 6-week-old baby Doberman "Bentley" into our home 10 years ago. We really wanted a Doberman but knew that it could get out of hand really quickly if you didn't know how to control them. We were fortunate enough to have a friend that referred us to CMC where we enrolled Bentley for their extensive training. To me it seemed like it was forever to be without my puppy and I wondered whether or not it would be worth it. It was. Absolutely. Worth it. Bentley was really such a different puppy after he had training. Well let me rephrase that to say, after we were trained ?? Yes, he is strong-willed and tries to take over every now and then, but we always went back to the lessons that we learned from Susan and Glenna. We thought it was such a great program that when Harlee came into our lives 2 years ago, the first thing we did was sign her up for training. Just to give you an idea how much of a handful she was, her nickname when she was young was Hell Hound Harlee, lol. Turns out that she really needed the structure and training. Now, she waits by the backdoor every day to go to work with me. She is so intuitive with my staff and clients. This could have never occurred without her training at CMC. Our motto is "changing people's minds about Dobermans, one person at a time." And it truly has worked. So now is the best part, in my opinion. These ladies love your furbabies so much. They remember all of the important details and interactions that they have had with you and your pups over the years. Like I said, family. They also offer boarding services which we use 2-3xs a year. When you take your puppy to them, you know that they are getting literally the best care that they can. You're not going to be able to take them down the street and get them better care than what you are getting at CMC. They love your furbaby. Have you ever taken your dog to be boarded and have them strain against the leash not to go? Not here. The dogs just walk on in like they own the place. Home away from home. Just a little louder maybe :-) They have given so much advice, support and love to my family over the years. They really are an asset just to know and soak in their wisdom.I'm sure we will have more training sessions in the coming years but I can only say how blessed we have been to have them in our lives. I would unconditionally recommend CMC for all of your training and boarding needs.

Wow, I cannot say enough about CMC Dog training. We just picked up our puppies and are so excited about the outcome of their board and training program. Glenna and Amy and the entire staff were nothing short of amazing. They really did treat our dogs like their own during their time there. When you pick them up they take the time to go through everything with you and show you the commands your dog has learned during a demo. They take pictures of your dogs while they are there and post them online so you can see their progress. Plus, they were so sweet about me calling to check up on them occasionally. If you are on the fence about booking, I highly recommend doing it. This was the best possible thing we could have done with our pups and has given them the tools that they need (and what we need) to be successful as they get older. Thank you guys for everything!!

I would like to preface this by saying these are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. They really care about their clients and their pets as well. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t the best fit for me & my pup. I signed my reactive pup up earlier this year for their 3 week board & train program. While I knew the training would cover basic leash & home training for the most part I did inform them my main concern was her reactivity on walks. My pup is pretty anxious in general, but she’s typically fine in smaller settings (boarding, grooming, the vet, etc) aside from some whining and barking. Outside walks were the really challenge. When it comes time to pick her up & they teach me the commands they learn & what reward methods they use and all of that good stuff. The first couple of days it was almost like she was a new dog, but she also seemed pretty tired from all the excitement I figured. So day three, we finally go on a big walk & she immediately is back to her old ways as soon as we see another dog. Barking & lunging all of that. So I reach out to them & they ask me to bring her back in for a mini session or whatever. They have two other dogs there in the training room they use & she starts up with the lunging & barking as they’re passing by her with the dogs. They seemed shocked & said they had not seen her act like that during her training. So they gave me a few tips (stuff that I had already researched before I even signed her up for the training), told us to come to the group training on the weekends & sent us in our way. We go to the group training & there are sooo many dogs there & immediately she’s worked up. We’re not even 15 minutes into the session and we get asked to leave because she’s so worked up. They tell me to try again next week. It takes me 25 minutes there & back & I know she’s going to do the exact same thing next time so I email them & ask if it’s possible for them to take her back for more training because they had mentioned if the pup needed more time they would keep them longer at no cost. They advised me to try cbd oil/treats & keep working with her. Again, one of the many things I had tried before I even signed her up for professional trainings…Unfortunately this was my last resort as I’m unable to provide her the training she needs. I love my pup with all my heart but her reactivity has caused me great stress which also makes it worse for her. I cannot afford any more professional training for her & cannot train her myself due to my own anxiety. I’m currently looking for a new home for my baby as I do not want her to have to live out her life like this.

We had 2 Dobermans trained at cmc and boarded there while on vacation. The fur kids loved it. A great place with caring staff.

Hands down the best dog training facility around! My dog went there as a puppy to get trained and was amazed at how he came back as a totally new trained dog! Once your dog goes through the training you get to come back every Saturday for the life of the dog to reinforce what they learned and continue working with them in a group setting. Glenna is the best too! She really works with you so you feel comfortable! Best experience not just for me, but for my dog! He loves going there!

I took my grandpuppy, Fitz, to be trained here. Drove 4 hours to reach the Justin facility. They are amazing!! Fitz has grown into an amazing German Shepard that follows commands and is open to learn more. I just got a new puppy and Yeti will be making his way to CMC as soon as I can get him in! Highly recommend!!!

Will never board here! They don't care about clients just money. Made arrangements 6 weeks prior to drop off. Called to bring them the dogs food etc, now they don't remember their promises and said they never told me I could drop off early ( which they did tell me because I have an early flight out). Don't expect them to honor any special arrangements for you. With 2 elderly dogs.... no way I'm going to board 3 day early $300 when my dogs don't need boarding those days!!

They loved my puppy like she was their own. Totally invested in her. Always available to answer any questions we had. Always willing to help us one on one when we needed.

Dogs were there for 3 weeks and instead of actually showing/doing what the dogs were trained we watched a video. We got home try to do the commands and nothing not one worked. Maybe it worked at their place without distractions but that doesn’t do me any good. Highly dissatisfied!!!
