Local hardware stores are important and necessary to keeping our country fixed. Have a difficult issue at home, well neither Lowes or Homedepot will have someone there to assist. Noonday does. They have saved me hours of frustration with solutions.

I drove from Tyler to get a specialty item. I was told that I couldn't get it because someone, an employee in the store, had taken off early for Valentine's Day. No one else in the store had taken off for valentine's day. If you're working adult, celebrate Valentine's Day after work like everybody else. That's a silly excuse. in my 35 year teaching career, I had so many days built up that I could have not even gone to school the last semester that I taught and STILLgotten paid. So I'm sorry , I can't relate to this excuse.

I've found that many times they carry the items I need, so I don't need to make a trip into Tyler to a big box store. Noonday Hardware has very helpful and friendly staff, and they also offer a military discount, which is always greatly appreciated.
