We've been members for about 7 years and we've stayed at many locations. This has been the worst stay ever. As much money as we pay to maintain and upgrade the properties, it seems NONE goes to this one. Definitely zero updates since it was built. NONE. We walked into a cabin that has a musty closed basement smell, spider webs welcomed us in every corner and the master bedroom has vomit on the carpet, wall and bed skirt. I have never felt such a let down in a location.

This resort was amazing! It has everything for you and your family to enjoy trip filled with fun and relaxation. I loved all the amenities and games they offer included in your stay, miniature golf, shuffle board tennis, and so much more. We also did horseback riding rented a boat and went to the water part which all were priced reasonably. I thought it was neat that they offered more of an outdoor stay feeling in some cabins surrounded by beautiful trees or more upscale in the beach club or at the harbor. We stayed at the beach club and really enjoyed the pool there. It was easy to get around and navigate as long as you explore in your car when you first get there with the map they provided. I would say my only issue with the entire stay was at check-in. The front desk staff can definitely be more friendly alone with the activities staff. Most of them were young girls that need additional training in customer service, some of them had attitudes. The mask restriction needs to end! People are on vacation and those that are uncomfortable can stay home or wear one on their own account. The order has been lifted it is not the resort's place to force their guests, who are paying to be there to wear a mask when the mandate has been lifted. Kelli the resort manager was excellent and is doing an amazing job! She was welcoming, kind and professional. In addition the pool staff was fantastic, the spa was not heating so I called the desk and Jonh Wade was there in under 15 minutes and fixed it for us. That was impressive considering how large the resort is, not only that is was very friendly and professional and organized.

Do not purchase their timeshare program. This is a scam. They will affirm the fact that you will be able to resell your timeshare. Please hid the warning. You will not be able to do so. Trust me. We wasted more than $9000 purchasing this garbage and now we are stock with it. Don't need it and can't sell it.Be Warned!!!.

Before Holiday Inn bought SilverLeaf out this was one of our favorite condos, a short drive, lil log cabins nestled in the pines. When SilverLeaf owned it was a 5 then HI bought, took away camping, took out the lil grill n sovereign store, made it like a hotel check in, employees in vest n ties without smiles instead of the great employees in blue Jean's and happy. And now they just close it completely??? I actually googled it hoping holiday in had sold it and it would be great again. ?

Nice area to visit with children. Many activities provides by the resort. Pool, tennis, basketball, board games, videos, play ground. And you can go to the sister resort for the water park. The cabins are very nice as well. Pleasant relaxing stay. Even drove over to First Monday and enjoyed shopping.

Our experience was ok but They let us believe when we booked that our room were going to be in front of the lake. It wasn't the case, they sent us to the back far away from the lake. I complained but didn't work. We enjoyed most of the week but we were disappointed since we were not in front of the lake. Make sure you ask directly if you hope to have lake view ( it is called Presidential).

These little cabins were very cute. We (family of 5) stayed there very comfortably. The only issue we ran into was that of small house living with kids (it's hard for the grown ups to stay up and watch a movie after the kids go to bed, when everyone is living on top of each other!) But the woods were beautiful, the little pool was relaxing, the lake was beautiful, and we had a wonderful time! Plus, there are lots of interesting things to do and restaurants to try in nearby Flint and Tyler.

Absolutely love this company. The employees here are taught to really care for their guests.. It's a great place for a family cause they have tons of amenities. Great place to fish. The management and staff is so friendly and really care about how your experience was. Great job. Will definitely come back cause the staff was so great and had an amazing time.

Such a neat place! Yes, cabins are old and rustic and could use some updating, but they had everything necessary and fit the rustic camp setting. Tons of activities for families and the a/c and wifi made it easy to take a break from the Texas heat and get some work done!

Cute little getaway place, but if you get a duplex cabin, the walls are very thin. The family on the other side had a baby crying and it sounded like they were outside around the corner from our window. Apart from that, it's a great place

People are nice and area is beautiful but the only way I will go back is if I rent out both sides of the cabin. The walls are so thin you can hear every move and bodily sound of the people on the other side. Needs updating but not bad condition. Maybe take down a wall and call it a Presidential cabin?

wonderful staff!! Beds were super hard, but slept like a log. A/C worked great! Froze my behind off, lol. Too bad the lake was closed for swimming, would have fully enjoyed our stay.

Woke up to a flooded kitchen & bathroom at 5:30 am. Call security. They told me to sail 4444. Did that. " This is security, may I help you. " They couldn't do anything. Said no one was in the office till 7am and they would tell them. My son turned off the water valve to the refrigerator. It had broken. We took all the towels to soak up the water. About 10 am someone came to clean up the water. It was already soaked up. Around noon the waterline was replaced. There needs to be an emergency number to call to get things taken care of like this. Both units could have been totally flooded. The cabins are nice.Staff is nice.Furniture could be updated.Need laundry on site.

We love the resort. Quiet and peaceful. We had a minor problem with the ac but it was fixed within the hour. Friendly attentive staff. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a quiet chill vacation spot.
