We love our church! Brother Sam Deville teaches straight from the Good book- no frills...just the truth! Although he does has a great sense of humor!! The church families there are very welcoming, so come as you are! You'll be greeted with love and kindness-

You would think this is a gaudy mega church - it's not. The teaching is sound and the Bible is taught. Using parallel chapters, and historical commentaries, Hebrew and Greek. The Pastor uses all these tools to make the chapters come alive - you leave knowing more about the Word, and how to live a life following Christ. Amazing WORHIP! Plus - Every program and opportunity you could think of for service and learning."CONS" (notice the Quotes)-->While used to have an issue with "membership" , researching it - it's not a real foundational issue, like "post trib" or "pre trib" it does not take away from Christs commission of teaching/preaching the Gospel and making HIM known - (which this church does!)-->Large numbers (Marshmallow effect) You would think you would get lost in the numbers. While this IS possible, the Sunday schools, small groups, and places for service places this on the 'follower of Jesus - not the Church (Honestly, this is the way it should be).

We really like this church! As far as churches go the people of FBC are very warm and welcoming! The worship service is a nice mix of old and new music; seating is comfortable; people are friendly; There are options to study further in Sunday School classes for adults between regular church services; youth groups and childcare are well organized and enjoyable for all ages (we have elementary and kindergarten kids that attend). The Pastor is excited and passionate in his teaching through the Bible—he breaks it down verse by verse and we always leave with new insights and wisdom. The church is large and set up very well for events. We’ve attended several concerts there through 2020 and felt very comfortable with the extra sanitation measures and space available to have empty seats around our family when desired. Overall we highly recommend FBC as it is a solid Bible teaching church that seems to be alive and thriving!

Due to health @ weather miss a-lot of our services. I absolutely love being able to hear God thru the sermons that Brother Sam gives us. Thank you Bro Sam for being such a loyal and faithful servant, and for your obedience to the Word .

So awesome of them having the Gaither concert. Beautiful church. Brother Sam is a great pastor. I remember him from Hawkins Liberty Baptist church. He knew my dad Judge Ray Robertson

Went with a group of about 20 to see I Am They in concert. The church is absolutely beautiful! The concert was great - with plenty of comfortable seating for all. The church campus is very inviting. Although I have not visited for a Sunday service, I am sure it would be a great experience as well.

I just read a terrible review about Pastor Sam, and I just wanted to share the inaccuracy of that review. Brother Sam has baptized my husband, both of our children and myself. We met Brother Sam in 2005 when my husband and I decided to give Flint Baptist Church a try. He introduced himself to us and asked us our names which is typical with any church. But, what stuck out to us was the following Sunday when he shook our hands, and he called us by name. He remembered us... This is what stuck out to me more than any other church I've ever attended. But, on top of that, when we missed church, we would receive a letter from him stating that he missed us at church and looked forward to us returning. Out of a congregation of 300+ people (at that time) he noticed we weren't there. That speaks volumes about the dedication he has to the people of Flint Baptist. It showed us that we matter, and he cares that we are there. To this day, every time we attend, he makes his way across the church shaking hands and greeting those by name with a smile, a handshake or a hug. His love for the Lord radiates through him by his kindness, his preaching, his dedication, his passion, and the love he has for others, not to mention his goofy voices, the way he acts and funny jokes from behind the pulpit. :D He is an extraordinary leader and man of God. His teaching comes from the Bible and he loves the history of the Bible. In my opinion if the Lord didn't want us to learn truth taken from both the old and new testament, he would have only given us one or the other. Another negative review shared how someone was upset that no one helped them in their time of need. However, let me share a couple of testaments of how Flint Baptist helps those is need... FBC has an amazing mission field and supports Jesus closet, church under the bridge, hangers of hope, etc. And then they support members going into the world to share the gospel on mission trips throughout the year. At one time I personally lost a job and the church hired me to work in the nursery. I've never felt that no one cared about my well being or that I wouldn't be helped if I needed it because they did help me in my time of need by providing me with a job. FBC has an amazing staff and each person serves a particular purpose. The enemy wants to destroy what God intends for good, so if you read this, take a second and say a prayer for Pastor Sam and Mrs. Karen for protection from prosecution as they lead Flint Baptist Church, as well as the rest of the staff and congregation. If you haven't checked out Flint Baptist, please do. You definitely won't regret it.

The place to be on Sunday and on Wednesday night. Fed over 400 on Wednesday this week. Great preaching, sweet fellowship and wonderful music, what more could one ask for?
