We stayed here for our anniversary a few weekends ago and it was really nice. The owner, Heather was outside to greet us and carry our bags if needed and took time to give us a brief history of this historic hotel and show us the amenities. The hotel is really old built back in the 1890’s and old structures just have a well built feel to them (wood was better back then). Our room was nice and spacious and we had our own private bathroom though there is a really nice public bathroom in the middle of the hotel as well. My wife booked a massage onsite and loved it. We would sit out on the front porch in the evenings on the swing and it was really peaceful. If you’re older or have difficulty walking I would recommend a downstairs room as the stairs are a bit steep. Once upstairs there was a cool balcony area you can just hang out and relax. Everything in town is just a short walk away and we even got a discount at the local diner for staying here. Just a nice quiet place to stay if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of big city life.
Rooms: The rooms are nice with a very old timey feel to them and have modern amenities as well (satellite tv, plenty of wall outlets etc.)
Walkability: The hotel is just a short walk from Main Street where the majority of restaurants and shops are located.
Food & drinks: The hotel had complimentary soft drinks, juice and snacks like popcorn ?.

The Olle Hotel was an amazing experience. The rooms were charming, clean, and so comfortable! The owner, Heather, greeted us, showed us around, and made us feel so welcome. The location was perfect for our tour of the painted churches. I will definitely plan a return visit!

This past weekend we had a girls weekend and chose to stay at The Historic Olle Hotel. Heather the owner greeted us and had everything ready for us.She was wonderful and accommodating our every need! The Hotel is beautiful and the rooms were so comfortable. We arranged a private movie at The Lyric Theatre and Saturday had a private painting session.
Flatonia has many things you can arrange with groups. And of course the best part of it all was to stay atThe Olle Hotel ?
Rooms: The rooms are very beautiful decorated in antique beds. And the beds are very comfortable plenty of pillows blankets whatever you need it is there.

We had a sister- sister in law-cousin weekend this past weekend. My sister Julie orchestrated our event. We stayed in Flatonia Texas( this small town is where most of my siblings and I grew up) We stayed at the Historic Olle Hotel and it was fabulous, from the rooms to the dining room and sitting rooms. The outside was peaceful, the front porch with the rocking chairs was wonderful! Heather was so gracious, friendly and along with Jayme were so accommodating and made our stay memorable. Anytime we go around this area and have to stay overnight, we will stay here.It was a wonderful and beautiful hotel. We all enjoyed our stay so much!
Rooms: Very comfortable beds. Each room has a small shower, sink area, and separate toilet room, very accommodating.
Walkability: It is right in town and you only walk maybe a block around the corner and you have a bistro-ice cream parlor, a few shops,a restaurant , who serves a very good breakfast. You can walk a littlte further across the railroad tracks and across the street and you have other shops and another restaurant called The Courtyard which serves delicious food as well.

This quaint little hotel is a blast from the past. We stayed in room #5. Heather was very accommodating with our late arrival. It is in the heart of Flatonia, so all the things are in walking distance. We will definitely book another stay when we are in town!!

A friend was looking to explore rural Texas and we both love churches so the historic Olle Hotel seemed to be just where we needed to be, and it was! The owner, Heather, was delightful and made sure our stay was everything we expected and more. The beds were so comfortable and we slept like babies.. Sitting on the porch in the evening was so relaxing, no traffic, just the beautiful sounds of nature’s nightlife. The amenities were Devine and we loved the attention to detail. If you’re looking for a place to relax and get away from it all, check out the Olle Hotel!
Rooms: So beautiful and decorated down to the last detail. Comfy beds, soft linens, aromatic soaps, streaming TV, and perfect temperature with heating and cooling.
Safety: Never worried about a thing!
Walkability: The hotel is right around the corner from Main Street where you will find shopping and dining.
Food & drinks: So many great restaurants including Darlin’s Cafe, Red Vault Restaurant and Robert’s BBQ.

My 1st time here, but my sister & her husband stayed here last year so on her recommendation we stayed here while we attended our 3rd year of the Moulton Wine Walk. My sister & I shared room #9 which had 2 beds we needed for our stay. Wonderful spacious setup on the 2nd floor & this place has a lot of character. Everything was perfect from check-in to exit. I highly recommend this place, easy to communicate with & they are eager to please . Prices are more than fair and you'll be more comfortable here than any nearby hotel. Give them a try ?

The room is beautiful and well kept. We were late to check in but the staff made sure to wait on us and was still very selfless. The beds are comfortable and the amenities are wonderful too! Also, the cost is best value in Flatonia.

My wife and my extended family and I love the Olle. We've been staying there whenever we've visited Flatonia for the last 7 or 8 years, and we always enjoy it. The building and rooms are historic, quaint, and charming. It is quiet, clean, and lovely. It has many modern amenities like wifi, satellite TV, free parking, and often complementary breakfast, which is worth the trip. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The Flatonia "metroplex" consists of a couple of blocks of buildings separated by RR Tracks along the Main Street, so location (apart from the location of Flatonia itself) is sort of moot. But if you're looking for a quiet and charming place to get off of I-10 for a night or a couple of days. Flatonia and the Olle Hotel are worth a visit. Highly recommend.Walkability: It is a block away from downtown Flatonia, which is tiny, of course, but if you like tiny towns, as I do, you will enjoy a quiet stroll near the hotel.

Flatonia is midway between Houston and San Antonio. The Ollie is an interesting historic house with a dozen one-of-kind rooms. A quiet choice with a couple of convenient and interesting restaurants nearby make it an ideal choice if you wish to avoid the usual big city or interstate options. Nice common area.

Wonderful accident stumbling upon this traditional Bed and Breakfast. Cathrine is the owner she's incredibly sweet and helpful. Her cooking was fantastic also. My fiance and I booked here due to a inflated hotel price in the area for the weekend. Could not have been more pleased with the amount of hospitality, kindness, and flexibility that Olle Hotel provided. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and will be returning any time I pass the area. Also you get a voucher for staying with them to the local diner that was excellent as well.

My husband and I had a great time. The room was amazing and so darling. We even had our own shower, sink and toilet, that is pretty unheard of at a B&B. The room was quite. They also have a deal with the local"Darling" restaurant for breakfast it was free. Delicious food. Olle, had plenty of parking as well. The room has it's own AC as well as a heater . The bed was comfortable and clean. Stayed two days and they were sweet to even give us clean towels for second day. The only thing we had a small issue was the shower didn't have much pressure. It's a beautiful historic place. We will be back, if they will have us. Lol thank you for an amazing two nights at your B&B.
