My wife and I visited their estate sale today. We selected a number of items before realizing the staff was not wearing masks or practicing proper social distancing. Additionally, they were not requiring customers to wear masks when in enclosed areas. This is the kind of willful ignorance that is going to force all of us to deal with COVID for months to come. Disappointed, we set our selected items down and left.

Lois, Danny and Madelyn did the Gooch Estate Sale. We(the Gooch family) were very pleased with the services provided. From beginning to end, they worked very hard to get our mom’s house ready for the sale. We highly recommended them to do your estate sale. I happened across this place because of I-10 traffic. Like any normal Sunday, I-10 is riddled with traffic headed back to Houston. And this time I'm glad it was because this place is awesome! The lady working there was very nice and helpful. There is a lot of really cool antiques. And not the new stuff made to look like antiques. Actual antiques. I ended up buying an old trunk. The woman knew exactly where she got it. It belonged to the judge in town. When he passed, his daughter became the town judge. Once her mother passed, she sold some of their stuff. So not only did I get an awesome old trunk, I got a story to go only with it too!
