“I want to send an honest and heartfelt review for this company to display my appreciation for their awesome service . I was unexpectedly placed in a bind(live 5 hours away) thanks to a car I purchased from an auction from an unscrupulous wrecker company. The said wrecker company were pathetic and left me without brakes, bad tires, and plethora of issues that were noted as working. My wife and I were clueless to situation that this soulless owner would leave us stranded & would not even offer to tow it anywhere(busy)! It was 3:50PM and called 3-4 places to see if they check my car so I can get on the road without success. The fifth call rang 7-8 times but a gentleman name Mike, from AZ Cars pickup. Told him issue and did not hesitate asked me to get car here. No help from anyone I drove dangerously slow 3 miles to his shop. Mike met me was courteous and sympathetic to situation. A lessor company would have said It's late drop car see you tomorrow...no no, this fellow took car in and looked at immediately. I was amazed of the high level of mechanical and auto body expertise Mike possessed quickly identified issues within 30 minutes. However due to an unidentified accident on the car that Mike keenly found cause severe underbody damages that would need to be repaired. My dismay on hearing this was a shock, but Mike and his staff confidently told me that everything would be alright. Hence, this is the purpose I am giving the local public a snapshot of what AZ Cars is: an epitome of honesty, integrity, and class that many in the industry fall short. My car has been repaired and will be picking it up next week. I will update the before and after to place a bright light to his business! I believe God helped me find him and his company.Please support this company.”
“So there are many places to take your car for an inspection. I have two vehicles so it's a pain to take them both for oil changes and then state inspections. In March, I had an oil change and I thought it might be too early since my inspection sticker was due in September, however somebody here told me it wasn't too early so I had the state inspection done. Imagine my annoyance when I found out the inspection was due between July 30 and September 30. for the registration of course. I came in annoyed but prepared to pay again... but I didn't have to do that. I went out feeling like I had just had a visit with a good neighbor. These guys absolutely put the Rock in Rockwall Brakes Plus on Goliad. Very happy I was not grilled for my part in lack of researching, instead, Chris Stockert, who has taken over as general manager in October 2023 simply said, "...not a problem, we will redo at our expense.". I think we can all agree that customer non-service is abundant in the world and locally right now, but not at Brakes Plus. I will continue to do business here as long as I live in Rockwall.. And by the way, the bad reviews seem to center around people who have made appointments to bring their cars in. I'm very happy these people even offer appointments as some do not. If these guys are to cars like doctors are to people, appointments, run, long keep that in mind and also keep in mind, they have a nice key drop if you want to bring your car in the night before. Just my two cents..”
“We had been using another place since moving to the RC area nine years ago, well today we decided we wanted to support local and I am very glad we did. My husband said y’all were super quick, even though there were a lot of people in line and it was much cheaper than what we had been paying for with the other guys. “Maaco was my first choice when insurance asked me where I wanted to take my car. They were able to easily schedule in the same phone call as filing my claim, could get my car in within the week and drop off was super smooth. Aaron communicated very thoroughly and even got my car back to me earlier than planned/expected! Hopefully I won’t need them again but would not hesitate to return if I do! Highly recommend!”

“These guys are awesome, car was in the air and tires off by the time I made it to the waiting room. I sat down fired off a few work emails and Pete rolled in to tell me it was done. I’ve never experienced a tire shop that’s run as good as this one. The truck rides like a cloud and for once getting tires wasn’t a multiple hour ordeal. I’ll be back, I’m sending everyone I know back, my work fleet will be back, I can’t really make it anymore clear just how impressed I was. I haven’t even mentioned the price, which was a few hundred dollars cheaper than ANYWHERE else I looked. Props to this shop, they have a customer for life.”

“I inquired online and got a call back quickly. Cameron was absolutely amazing. He was not pushy. He answered all of my questions. He made me feel comfortable. Given the circumstances of why I was getting a new vehicle, he was very understanding and professional. The process was fairly quick and Cameron even sat in my Ascent with me to set everything up. If you’re in the market for a Subaru, I highly suggest you start here. Even if they don’t have what you are looking for, they will do their best to get it! “This is a great shop to work with. I took my nieces used car in for inspection and repair. The repairs were done in a timely manner. When the car experienced additional issues driving home, Rodney replaced the Autozone battery which I just bought with no charge for labor. When the problem still cropped up, Rodney spent a day running down diagnostics to find the transmission issue was not something he could address. The diagnostic effort was done at no charge. Will definitely use this shop again.
My only complaint is the lack of Saturday hours, even for just drop off, makes it a challenge to use them around the family schedule during the week.”

(Saw the good reviews for auto craft and a lot of recommendations on facebook) Then to find out maybe other places aren’t being as honest as they should be! He did not try to upsell me on anything. I got exactly what I went there for, which was a front axle brake job on my 2013 Toyota Tundra. He even told me that I didn’t need to service the rear brakes at this time. Service took 2 hours and communication was great.
Read the reviews but bear in mind, 99% of satisfied customers do not leave reviews. It’s the unhappy ones and the ones that can’t be pleased who leave the negative reviews. This shop addresses all of the issues though, which says a lot. Use this small business and support your community… Or go to the big box shops and overpay. Your choice.
