I would give a 1/4 star if that was an option. I have been trying to get an email with proof of service for insurance purposes. I spoke with Olga and apparently only a manager can send emails. I’ve been promised call backs but have not received one.

The technicians are good but the Clare home panel is horrible. Very unstable. Frozen screen, not able to connect to wifi, faulty battery, etc . multiple issues! We had to pay for 400 to have the technicians to fix various issues.

Six months ago a technician installed the clare control app and device in our house. He did not tell us that we needed a security code. He did not leave a security code with us. I accidentally pressed the arm button and cannot now disarm it because we don’t have a security code. And now their on-call technicians are not answering the phone. These are the most incompetent bunch of people you can hire.Response to owner’s note below:1. You are correct, the tech did not train me on the two most critical things about the alarm - how to arm it and what the code was.2. We waited almost an hour after first reporting the issue before posting this review. Soon after the review was posted, I got a call and the tech resolved the issue which was basically cycling through out of the box system codes. Customer service through social media is not good practice.

Multimedia Solutions wired my house when it was built 4 years go. I have had no issues at all with anything until I plugged a Smart TV into a network port I had not used before. I spend hours trying to figure out why the TV would not connect to the network before purchasing a testing device that indicated the cable feeding it was cross-wired. Since their trucks are regularly in my neighborhood, I called and asked if someone could drop by and re-terminate the CAT6 cable (15 minute job). They said it had been too long since they did the work (out of warranty) and that it would be $185 for a service call plus labor to fix the cable. So, although I have been happy with the installation overall, I am giving them them one star for not standing behind their work and fixing a defect they created. I understand they are under no obligation to help me, but it would have been so easy for them to keep this customer happy - they declined to do so. This is poor customer service.UPDATE: I connected with Dean from Multimedia Solutions as suggested and he is scheduling someone to come out and fix my problem. I am certainly willing to pay for the repair if it turns out it was not their workmanship that caused it. Everyone deserves a second chance and other than this bump in the road, I have been very happy with the initial work they did to wire my home. Well done.

I work for a luxury homebuilder in DFW area and we use multimedia solutions to walk our clients through their low voltage options while they are building their home. I'm always pleased with my interactions with Preston Michaelis (our audio/video consultant) but, more importantly, my homebuyers rave about their experience with Preston. He is knowledgeable, takes time to answer any questions my buyers (or I) might have, and is willing to go out of his way to make sure everyone has a great experience. I would recommend multimedia solutions, specifically Preston, to anyone looking into upgrading their space. Huge thank you to everyone at multimedia solutions!

This company is outstanding! The guys are trustworthy in your home, their fast and efficient. We had our media room, family room, game room and outdoor living area all done in three days. Highly recommend.

We received excellent service from Jeremy, Chris and Joey in installing a security system, televisions, sound system and WiFi in our home. They were very efficient in performing their work and extremely courteous and helpful. We would highly recommend this company.

I originally gave Multimedia Solutions a two star rating. They came recommended from a trusted source, but my initial experience was disappointing. I simply felt their performance merited neither a higher rating nor my recommendation for a variety of reasons.But...After I posted that rating, they shifted into overdrive from the top of the organization down through the ranks to make things right. It was an impressive display of a culture that practices zero tolerance of poor quality in any area and that the customer experience is paramount.Everybody has a bad day. Sometimes you step up to the plate and it's a "swing and a miss". But, Multimedia Solutions will do whatever it takes to deliver complete customer satisfaction. I'm delighted to revise my rating to 5 stars and I'm now considering them for another project in my home. They're an impressive group.

So bad. Product is bad and service is terrible. Stay far away from these people. We only used them because they sold this product through our homebuilder. They didn't install all of our items we paid for. They told us they would come and connect our tv, etc and what they didn't share was it was going to cost us. And a lot! They are 3-4 times most in the market.

A great work ethic for a company that pays bare minimum, some workers have been there years without getting a single raise while others barely make ends meet. A good company for customer but not for the employees

Extremely ill trained technicians who do not know what they are doing. They do not even carry a stud detector to find out if there is a stud in the wall before proceeding to work on the job. The customer is now left with wall cut outs that need to be fixed. Highly inefficient in doing their task when they do the billing at an hourly rate. Avoid them.

Don’t use this company . I was telling them how to make the customer happy after being unsatisfied with their service and the issue we had . Their answer was r you going to tell me how to run the business .... that by it self being rude and after we paid them thousands dollars they want to charge $3000 more for the WiFi system and their labor .. their labor more than $150 per hour ... that’s ridiculous wish we didn’t choose them ... be careful from the nice words that got us deceived from the beginning . They are a ripoff business. bEWARE!!!!!

I wish I can give less than 1 star for this bad company. They installed a control 4 system at my home and in less than a year I had the system malfunction and they came to fix it and still didn’t work. Their customer service is the worst. They even tell you to buy more stuff from them to fix a simple issue and that’s why I was told by another company that I got a second opinion from. When I went there their owner was on vacation and didn’t bother to talk to a customer who spent 10,000 dollars on their equipment and poor service. So enjoy your vacation and I am taking my business and future referrals somewhere else!!!
