I stay here every few months for work and stay 2-3 days at a time. Last month I checked in for two nights. I didn't book until the night before my arrival (close to midnight). Well, I mistakenly booked it for that same evening. When I checked in the following day I was told that my reservation was for yesterday. I apologized, said that I booked it late last night but it was supposed to be for today. He corrected it, and checked me in. Never said a word about charging me for the error.When I received my credit card statement, I was charged an additonal $190 for one night stay. This wasn't relected in my original statement on the app.I realize it was my error but it was late that evening. They obviously didn't already have that room booked.You lost my business. I'll stay elsewhere next time I'm in town.

We recently stayed here, and a few hours after we checked out, we received a call from the manager informing us that we had broken the tv and would be charged for a new one. The room had already been cleaned, and a new guest was checked in. We were told that housekeeping only saw what she thought was dust on the TV, and the new guests weren't there long enough to break it.I asked for pictures of the TV, and in the reflection, you can clearly see that someone had been laying in the bed.I tried to explain that we did not break the TV, but the manager was insistent, to the point of being rude, that it was our fault. We were then charged $450.00 for the tv.That's when I contacted the corporate office and was told that their protocol was "housekeeping is to report anything out of the ordinary and a manager is to check each room after it's cleaned to check for missing or broken items. They took a report from me and told me someone would look into the situation and get back to me within 48 hours. I never received a call. I called several more times and got nowhere. I tried to talk to the manager at the hotel again and explain that we had not broken the TV We would have payed for it if we had been responsible for breaking it, but we did NOT break it. She was rude and finally hung up on me.It has always been pleasant to stay there, as we have several times over the past couple of years. Our daughter got married on our property. The stay in question was the weekend of the wedding where we had family and friends book over 20 rooms. I'm sad to say that we, nor any of our family, will never stay there again.

So far, we have stayed at 3 Holiday Inn Express's on this trip, and this one in Fairfield was really nice. Very clean, comfortable bed, plenty of towels, reasonable priced concession store though not well stocked. Service was very friendly. The location was good as well. Very nice stay.

I reserved a room at this location and I couldn't make it because I ran out of hours. There was an issue with my load and I had to cancel because I would violate regulation laws with D.O.T.When I called to cancel the reservation, the lady on the phone told me that I couldn't because it would be a "no show" and she was going to charge me for the room ANYWAY. I explained to her the reason why I couldn't make it, but she told me that there was a 48 hour cancelation policy. How can I have 48 hours to cancel a room and I made the reservation for the same day? Best BELIEVE I will be calling corporate first thing in the morning. I didn't know that this company hired thieves.

First time ever rejected from getting my points from Holiday Inn. There’s only two hotels I stay at Holiday Inn and BestWestern. Been traveling for over 20 years, and never had a problem with my corporate lodging and getting my points being the fact that I choose my own hotels and where I stay.

We had a great stay at this Holiday Inn. First of, the staff is absokutley amazing. They were all so helpful, professional and friendly. The room was awesome, the pool was nice and clean and the hot tub was also great. They had plenty of choices for breakfast and the coffee was sooooo good. Most locations offer bitter tar water for coffee but not here. We were greeted and thanked for being loyal elite tier customers which is truly rare anymore. We will make this location our stop between home and our vacation destination.. thank you, yall are the best!!

SCAM WARNING FOR ANYONE TRAVELING WITH A DOG!!!! The lady running the front desk let me go through the whole checkin process while I was standing there with my dog on a leash, and once the reservation went through she said we couldn't stay because my dog was an ESA and not a service animal, and that they had a 24 hour cancellation policy so I couldn't get my money back! Then she said it wasn't up to her it was up to her male manager as she lit her cigarette in front of me as if she had NO sympathy for the situation and also completely disregarded the no smoking with 150 feet policy posted on the holiday INN doors. When I went inside to speak to her manager it was obvious she lied and it was just her because there was no one else there. So warning to anyone thinking of staying here the front desk girl is a scam artist and highly suggest staying anywhere else in this city except here. If I could leave zero, sorry I would.

Nice room & bathroom is ok. I asked for room maintenance today and they failed to enter fix the issue and remove the trash by the front door. Witnessed an employee park in a handicap parking spot and she had no plates or placard, she should learn how to park.

Do not bring pets! I had a two night reservation booked and arrived after traveling 8 hrs and the rejected me, saying that they only let service dogs stay. They would not refund me my $359.00. I had to drive around to find a pet friendly hotel and spend the money again! The advertising on front is false!

Absolutely appalling experience. Our basketball team was there for less than 2 hours and the cops were called to threaten us off of the property. Mind you they’re 10. They were excited to be in the same hotel. The manager and employees weren’t having it. One employee forced a group of children into an elevator and brought them to the front desk…. Without their parents. The first notification parents had of the complaints was from an officer telling us no one could leave their room for the duration of the stay. We booked for 3 nights. This place is a joke and I’d highly recommend you look elsewhere.

The Staff was horrible. They were extremely rude. I booked and paid for a queen size bed but was given a Full size. I’ve been to hundreds of hotels and never in my life have I encountered staff this horrible. For the rest of my visit the front desk worker aggressively stared me down when I walked by or tried to eat breakfast. At one point I and other guests were eating breakfast and a staff member walked in and turned off the lights. Facilities were okay but the employees were the worst I have encountered in my hundreds of hotel visits across many states and countries.Noteworthy details: Outstandingly rude staff. They were just straight up mean people

We stayed at this facility on October 16, 2022. We left several articles of clothing in our room. After contacting the hotel hours later, Kayla located our items and will send them to our home address. This is a big relief to us and her professionalism and assistance is much appreciated.Kent Kunz
