Meh! Poor excuse for a "private club". Food is tolerable at best and comes with a $ervice fee in addition to $ales tax. It's a "blue collar" facility at best. No dress code for dining. Intolerable children left to roam the tables. Management has either lost control or refuses to take control. Shameless presentation by Invited/Club Corp.

Anyone thinking of joining Fair Oaks Ranch Golf & Country Club? I would advise you to be extremely cautious, and refuse to give them your checking account number. On NOVEMBER 8, they mistakenly withdrew over $4500 from our checking account. I have sent countless emails, copying the GM, and as of today, December 18, we STILL don't have our money. We are now being told that we SHOULD get it in a few days. (We were also told that it was being sent in late November, and we were also told that it was being overnighted a week ago). The GM has NEVER responded to any of my emails, even to tell me to go to hell and that we will get our money when they are damned good and ready. This company took THOUSANDS of dollars from our checking account over a month ago and they have no sense of urgency in getting it back to us. What if we needed that money to pay our mortgage? Or to pay for Christmas? I am absolutely livid. They certainly make sure that I pay my dues on time! I think it is criminal that have gotten away with this. Unfortunately, since we live on their golf course, we can't exactly take our business elsewhere. And unfortunately, if we still don't get the money back on Tuesday, there's basically nothing I can do. Giving them our checking account number was a huge mistake. Be careful who you give that information to.

This place was enjoyable until the staff at the fitness center implied that I had taken their TRX straps. I actually spent 150.00 on my own TRX straps since the personal trainers like to block all the spaces for their paying clients. I still see some of their members at another workout club, and they still think I took those home with me.

What happened!? Cheesy country music was blaring in the main dining room, the decor looked like it was from TJ Maxx Home Goods, cheap canvas "art" hung in the hallway didn't even have cardboard backing removed (visible as we walked by). We made reservations for a family brunch, but when we arrived we discovered there was no more traditional Sunday brunch (serving stations, customized egg and waffle stations, fruit, pastries etc) and only a very limited uninspired menu. There were probably two other tables in the entire dining area, dressed in jeans or shorts and flip flops in the main dining room. As members since the very beginning, we were surprised to find ourselves overdressed and very disappointed. Building looks and smells old, food was terrible, and waitress didn't even understand our drink orders. This place needs a redo.

Beautiful landscape which is why I gave it 4 stars. But if you're thinking about working here, good luck. Hardly anyone answers the phone except for one dude name Harley, he's super chill and helpful but that's it. GM is nowhere to be found and when I was able to get a hold of him and talk about a job listing that they posted, dude said he'd call me back and never did. Told me Tuesday or Wednesday and failed to call back. How are you gonna posts jobs on Indeed that you're hiring and you get someone that calls 12 times, has the person at the front desk take down a message for them and even goes out of their way to drive all the way there in person to once again not be able to reach the GM and leave a hand written note themselves just to have to call again even after that just to get told "I'll call you back Tuesday or Wednesday" and then not call that person. At least call me back and tell me you're gonna look into other candidates. 10/10 probably dodge a bullet working there if that's how they do things

We love providing décor at Fair Oaks Country Club. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. Our clients have always had a great experience. The hill country background makes for dreamy photos and lighting elements for great pictures. The space I would describe it as hill country chic; not too country and not too fancy. It's just right for a hill country event.

Recently toured the facility and played the Blackjack course followed by dinner with members who have been here for a few years. My wife and I love the place and wish we would have chosen it before we made our move to Texas 5 years ago. The facilities and style is classy old Texan which is great for us. It is well maintained...is reasonably priced and welcomes families. If you're looking for the latest and coolest country club look elsewhere.
