August 2024 by El Oso
Really need a better system for help when your doc goes on vacation. Have called five times since August 1st trying to get something for covid/sinus infection. Have been told each time. We are waiting to hear back from the on call doc. They have to take care of their patients first then they will get to you. This takes 5 days? Was basically told i am not important enough to help when I have been a patient for over 10 years.

I have been coming to this practice for almost 10 years. Dr. Chio is a great doctor, attentive, through, and will actually listen to you. 5 out of 5 stars. There are also select staff members here that are helpful and kind as well, Candice, has always gone above and beyond to help me with my medication/insurance battles. But I have to admit that, like several other reviews, the front desk staff, scheduling, etc. is a disorganized mess and often leads to many problems. I held off on writing a review for so long because of this. Some staff do not deserve even a 3 star rating but it's not fair to the others. Every time I have ever called to speak to someone I have been automatically put on hold for ~30min then will be disconnected forcing me to call back and sit on hold for another 30 min. Sometimes if I get disconnected a second time I call the billing department and ask to be transferred to the receptionists. The Drs are good and if that's what you're looking for this place is worth going to but you will have a struggle with the facility itself.

Northeast Tarrant Internal Medicine Associates: 0 out of 5. They refuse to disclose pricing prior to treatment for established patients with an appointment on the calendar. I am not even sure that is legal (per the No Surprises Act passed at the federal level on 1/1/22, "providers must give you a good faith estimate of what your care will cost") and I tried to speak with the doctors office (Jennifer), spoke with the reception desk (Jackie), Cary (the Manager - still no response after being hung up on the first time and then leaving a message), and the NETIMA billing department directly. No one knows how much an annual physical appointment with Dr. Chapman costs.
Dr. Chapman: 5 out of 5. Dr. Chapman should find a better practice that is as ethical as he is (NETIMA is not very ethical!). He is an excellent doctor and I wish he was "housed" under a better group.

NETIMA has become very unprofessional and lazy. They sent messages to my pharmacy denying a refill request for a medication I have taken daily for over 10 years, then they don't return my phone call made on a Wednesday, so I called again on Friday and was told I could not be seen until Monday and even if I scheduled an appoitment I would not be given a refil even though I was out of the medication and would not have any for the weekend. That is no way to treat anyone.

I absolutely love Dr. Buksh. He's extremely kind, knowledgeable, and truly cares about his patients. This IS a busy practice with several providers. They see numerous patients a day and have just as many or more trying to call them every day. Some wait is to be expected. Blame the insurance companies that make it harder for these providers to make any money by lowering contract payments and adding exclusions. The providers and their office staff don't have time to actively ignore their patients. They're too busy. I've been coming here for at least 14 or 15 years, and everyone has always been helpful and kind, even when busy. It is hard to get someone on the phone, but the portal helps. Sometimes, you do just have to wait on the phone, though. Somehow, I survive each time. When I'm sick, they quickly send meds I need, so that certainly makes up for it.

I was in the office earlier this month and was blown away at the patient care I received. My wife and I have been patients of Dr Buesch for years and have always felt his care and concern for us. This visit was special because every person that I dealt with was over the top caring and treated me like i was something special. the whole office was light with laughter and joy coming from everyone. I know that it is a stressful job for all of the team so thank you for working so hard to make a doctors visit as pleasant as you can. Please pass this on to all the staff and those that are leading the new NETIMA.

Ok I will start first by saying we love Dr. Gloria Anding herself. Both my husband and I see her. But we have had NUMEROUS issues with the office. First of all, any time I call, I have to wait 10-20 minutes before anyone even picks up the phone. And then when I get in the office, the staff don't act busy and seem annoyed that they have to help me. Next, I have routine labs that need to be done. They tell me I don't need an appointment; just come in any time. When I most recently came in, I had to bring my baby. We waited in the waiting room for 30 MINUTES, and the person taking blood didn't even get to the 2 people in front of me, so I had to leave because my baby was crying. It wasn't until I sat there for such a long time that the office staff even bothered to tell me that they had a temp that day and were running behind. I just think it's poor customer service to not communicate things like this with patients. One more thing, these labs took a week and a half to get back. I have also had issues with medication being called in. Dr. Anding wanted me to be on a name brand one, but the office accidentally called in generic. THEN I got a letter from my insurance company saying since she was suddenly "ok" with generic, they weren't going to pay for the name brand medication anymore. Dr. Anding did not want to contact the insurance company to correct the issue. So she asked me to use a mail in pharmacy, and I agreed. But the next time I needed a medication adjustment, the office called in the medication to the old pharmacy instead of the mail in one. Lastly, I tried to schedule an appointment for my husband who is having flu like symptoms. We talked to someone who got a lot of information from us and told us they would do testing for flu/COVID/RSV and then get him scheduled with Dr. Anding (the person we spoke with was aware that it had been a year and a half since my husband was seen). 5 minutes later we get a call from a different staff member saying that since it's been over a year, their policy is for him to go to urgent care instead. So in summary, the office is a mess with long waits and poor communication from staff. If you can put up with all of this, it may be worth seeing Dr. Anding.

I have been a patient of Dr Buksh for over 13 years. He is the kindest, most caring, relatable, calm, most well informed Dr I have ever worked with for an ongoing condition. When I moved here from California I was lucky enough to find this practice. I personally thank both he, his Nurse and all the staff at NETIMA for years of wonderful care!

Prompt and efficient; minimum amount of wait time. Entire staff registration through dismissal are top quality.

My son was a new patient and had his first appointment today 03/21/2022 at 11 am at the South Location. He checked in and waited. Several people came in after him and were seen immediately. He kept waiting. One nurse/assistant kept looking around a corner at him but never said anything. finally after over an hour he went back up front an asked if he was going to be seen. There was a different person at front but she knew remembered him and knew he had been waiting a long time. She took his name and birthdate again and did not 'know' which doctor he was supposed to be seeing. In the email they sent him with the appointment information they did not state which doctor would see him. She talked to someone else and had him wait. Then he saw a doctor leaving quickly and passing by him. So he went to the front and asked if there was a problem and the person seemed confused and said that that was the doctor that just left. She did not know why or when they would return. Meanwhile other patients had been coming in and being seen. He felt very degraded and no one felt the need to try and understand or even apologize. He has new insurance benefits and was looking for a new primary care office. He needs to have immediate care for his diabetes. He waited weeks for this appointment and took off of work now he has to find another doctor and wait yet again and miss work again. Very inconsiderate. Veru unprofessional. Very rude.

I've been coming to this doctor's office since I was a teenager so about 15 to 20 years. My first doctor with Doctor Buchanan and he retired or left the practice about 10 years ago and I've been seeing Dr Truong ever since. I have never had an issue with the wait time in either the examination room or the waiting room, but usually I've always scheduled appointments either in the morning or the evening when there would be fewer patients. The staff here has always been friendly and very knowledgeable, they were able to answer questions for me that the staff at CareNow couldn't answer during my workers comp period. Dr Truong has always been hesitant to push medications unless they're necessary because that certain medications can complicate certain things such as the liver so he's always wanted to make absolutely sure that any treatment is necessary. The most I've ever had to wait in the waiting room is about 10 to 15 minutes, in the same is said for the examination. My doctor has always been fast and very thorough, I trust the people here more than I do other offices. No I don't like to knock anybody else's review but I want to point out, even though this person reviewed a few years back and I'm still not so certain that I've seen anything even then, they stated that the walls of the waiting room and examination room are filled with screens or posters or something of advertisements for medications, I've been checking the walls as I'm here today and I don't see any indication of name-brand advertisement posters or anything. Even the television in the waiting room is showing food preparation for nutrition. That particular reviewer I think need to come back and take another look because it was a one star and the entire review was basically regarding advertisements on the walls for name-brand medication, but the moment I see on the walls are beautiful paintings of nature. But I also in the 15-year that I've been coming here don't recall ever seeing the walls littered with advertisements for prescription medication The waiting room is very clean and during this particular time they are doing a very good job of making sure everybody is screened and social distancing. I've also never experienced very long wait times when I've had to call them, usually they answer me within 5 to 10 minutes of being on hold and that pretty fast to me compared to other companies and other doctors offices where you're sitting on hold for 30 minutes, for example I want sat on hold with CareNow for 40 minute to ask about hand soap but here I've never experienced that. I'm proud to call this my doctor's office and unless I ever move to another city I don't think I'll ever change my doctor in this area. I tried Dr Truong more than other doctors in this area because he has always taken pretty good care of me and steered me in the right direction
