I'll speak for myself/cat. Severe brain damage (circling, hyperextended wrists, blindness, head tilt, weakness of limbs, tremors, loss of balance and seizures). Due to improper sedation procedure.

Great compassionate people work here. Cat safe place and vet that are considerate in their fair pricing. I went here with my paralyzed cat for daycare and a uti exam. They kept her safe, happy, clean, and made sure she was well taken care of health wise. If you have a special needs kitty, this place is her safe space while you are away at work. Be aware they are closed Wednesdays.

Your only as good as your support staff. I have left phone messages and emailed the office, and you only get an answering machine, and no one calls you back or emails you back. I am looking for a new home vet for my kitties, and I don't even have the decency of a return call or message?

There are not enough amazing things to say about this vet clinic. The staff here is incredibly endearing and they care about your baby like they're your own. They are compassionate, warm, and sincere in their practice. Dr. Hartland is INCREDIBLE. I have never met a more passionate and kind veterinarian. Even over the phone, she is detailed, concerned, and makes sure you understand what is going on. If you have a cat, TAKE THEM HERE! I have been to several vets and this team is just wonderful. They're amazing people. Thank you Hartland Staff for caring for my baby until his fight ended.

I absolutely love this vet and all of the office personnel. They treat my babies like they would their own. I can’t recommend them more. They are amazing.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Hartland and her Staff. They not only treat your cat with love, they help stressed out cat owners. They are very kind and accommodating. Though I live closer to many other vets, I’ll make the 25-30 minute drive knowing that my cats and I are well taken care of.I’m very grateful!

Really not impressed with the level of customer service. We made an appointment to drop off our cat when the office opened, which we did. We live about a 30-40min drive from the office. It came to about 3:15 pm that afternoon and I had not gotten an update, so I called. I reminded them of my driving distance. I was told I'd receive a call back soon. Not until after 5pm did I get a call saying that our cat was ready to be picked up. Great, rush hour traffic time. So I get there and I'm told that the doctor would like talk to me about their findings. So I sat and waited. My phone rings. My caller ID says it's Hartland Cat Hospital. I look at the tech and I asked "Are you trying to call me?" I'm told "It's the doctor." Puzzled, I answer. The vet introduces herself. I mention that I'm in her lobby. She proceeds to give me the rundown on my cat. Seriously? You're about to charge me three digits and change and you don't have the decency to come speak to me face to face? Absolutely flabbergasted. As someone who works in healthcare...of humans...I find this absolutely appalling. So after that earful of smoke I try to settle my bill...and it's not ready. Something about blood work that wasn't done yet! By that time I had been called an hour ago, telling me my cat was ready and I can't even pay my way out of there?! At this point I sternly remind the front staff that I was was contacted an hour ago, ask if my cat is ready or not because my daughter is back home waiting for me needing help with homework and it's another 40 minute drive back. Magically they get all their ducks in a row and I'm able to pay for the displeasure and be on my way.No. I would not recommend.

I love Hartland. They have the best people and the best care for cats. The compassion and respect that Mrs Hartland has is unrivaled. I've never had a bad experience with them. They remember my boys...Bear and JakJak. They have always been good with them. Nothing but love for Hartland!

I have used Hartland Cat Hospital since 2009 when I became dissatisfied with the retail chain vet I had been using. I wanted a vet who knew kitties and HCH certainly does. With two cats, we have experienced spaying, bladder stone surgery, emergency stitches, and cancer surgery, besides years of wellness exams. Even when we became full time RVers, we kept using the clinic, and just scheduled yearly stops for the wellness exams. We recently settled down in a house again, far from North Texas and thoroughly miss the quality of veterinary care we received at HCH compared to where we live now. Our older cat had a tumor that Dr. Hartland removed and pathology said that she had removed all of it, but cancer being cancer, it came back. We chose to just love on her for what time she had left. We had to visit a relative when our cat was getting pretty weak and on our return trip, she took a turn for the worse in Amarillo. Rather than visit an emergency clinic there to get her euthanized, we drove to Euless to have Dr. Hartland perform the procedure because we knew that she and her staff would give our kitty girl and us the love and support during a difficult time. Since we were traveling with our other cat, too, they made sure to offer her food, water, and a litter box. Hartland Cat Hospital is phenomenal.

*Update: Lily sent some of the blood test results she said I didn't have performed from the email she said she didn't have access to. *See photo. I still have not heard from Dr Hartland. My cat did not weigh 9 pounds on 08/06/22, the date tested. *Texas Administrative Code 573.72

Dr Hartland and her staff are amazing. They took such great care of our little boy cat over the five years we lived in Irving. We wish we could have taken them to Germany with us!

After over 10 years and 8 cats, I left Hartland in April 2022 because, and only because, of deplorable office staff and lackadaisical attention to care. Staff here has been declining in recent years, but this problem has reached critical mass of horrible. I just had to put my beloved Seven down this afternoon because of a large tumor in her urethra that was NEVER DIAGNOSED by Hartland Cat Hospital despite numerous renal related visits over the past 2 years. She had a 3cm mass that was never found by Hartland. When I got copies of Seven's records from Hartland in April, the records show repeatedly that diagnostic measures were "declined" by me repeatedly. This is absolutely not true ad NO ONE ever even asked me or told me that this needed to be done. Staff simply put that I "refused" when I wasn't even called or asked presumably because it was too much trouble to let me know. The last time I had her there in March 2022, they were more concerned about trimming her nails and charging me an ER visit even though she spent the night before the "vet visit" at their facility. Office manager and staff are unbelievably rude, cold & uninformed. I actually believed in Hartland so much that I drove all the way from downtown Dallas to take my cats there for 4 years. Dr. Hartland is an incredible, empathic and understanding lady and very knowledgeable vet. Unfortunately, she has relegated all decisions and interaction with clients to her constantly changing and uncaring staff. All of her "good" vet techs are gone and office staff is deplorable. My cat had to die today because her staff pencil-whipped her care for over 2 years and blamed it on me.

If I could give Hartland Cat Hospital "0" stars, I would. They are the most price gouging people I've ever known. My cat had a UTI a few years back and they charged (without surgery) almost $500.00. My cat had it again a while back and the vet that I go to now charged about $230.00 less for doing the same thing. DO NOT take your cat to that place! I guess Dr. Hartland maybe charges an arm and a leg so that she can keep that ""mansion" open at Baze & Glade.
