This store was so rude, especially the leader on duty. She was so concerned about being ready to close the store that her customer service lacked or maybe it was because I'm black. She already wasn't welcoming because i had 4 candles to EXCHANGE, not return AND i still spent $50 on wallflowers. The candles i was returning hadn't been used and were just purchased 3 months ago and the cashier tried to give me a hard time about the even exchange. As im walking out, i walk right past the leader and she doesn't say anything nor did she thank me for my business but made sure she followed me to the door to lock it. Mind you I was never confrontational, i just had all these thoughts during my shopping experience so as a paying customer this treatment is unacceptable and i WILL not be spending my money with BBW any longer. It's clearly not appreciated.

Really disappointed in my visit this past Friday.There was a line of 10-12 people, with only one employee at the register. But there were two employees at the front, laughing and chatting together for an extended period of time!I asked the employees if there’s someone else who can hop on register, the line was ridiculously long, and the employee actually ringing up looked overwhelmed. I was told “No! We’re waiting on a visit from our DM, so we’re fixing things” Clearly there was nothing productive being done by these employees at the time. Not even speaking to customers.Anyone who’s spent time working in retail knows the importance of acknowledging and taking care of your customers. And I’m willing to bet that will be the first thing your DM listens for as soon as they pop in for that visit.I left without making my purchase, I’ll happily take my business to another location who deserves the sale.

Do not use this store for pick up orders. Other stores in the area are able to fulfill your order same day but this location seems to take days. They told me in the store they are hundreds of orders behind. I would understand if this problem was at all location but it seems to just be this location.

If they put it on sale, people will come. I said, If they put it on sale, people will come. They had the annual 3-wick candle event and the 3 for 3 body care. Love it.

Horrible Customer Treatment.My wife and I are from out of town visiting family for a Christmas party. Decided to buy 22 items from the store since there was a discount on the items. When we got to our car we realized the cashier had charged us for two extra items.We were in a hurry to get to the party and when we tried to re-enter the store (that we just left from) we were told we had to wait because the store was at capacity and would also have to wait in the now long line for the cashier once inside.When we asked the lady at the door we asked to speak to a manager the associate had treated us like she didn’t care and said she “was the manager”I understand policies and protocol but you also have to understand the customer’s situation.We tried to make it easier by asking if we could just pick two more items for the same price but when it was scanned and rescanned the cashier told us we now owe an extra $16 to what we already paid. Tried to explain she scanned two things twice and we have the same amount of items but they treated it like it was our fault and that we were stealing when in fact we had told the cashier the first time she scanned our stuff that she scanned something three times.In the end we were able to get things resolved but the whole situation was awful.

I have an issue with the store manager not honoring a coupon. This coupon does say can be applied after all promotions are applied. She told me because I went on member only day for their candle sale it is excluded. If I ordered online for store pick up the coupon would have worked. Makes zero sense. How does that make any sense for your members?? You mean I get to save money by not shopping on member preview day? I've used this each year and have never had an issue. I would like corporate to review this.

Bath and Body typically has the best sales on my favorite items (wall flowers, body care and candles) and their product quality is unwavering. Additionally, the employees are very friendly and willing to assist with any questions or other needs. Bath and Body has been one of my favorite stores since the early 2000’s and remains so today! You will not be disappointed if you shop here!

The manager and employees are Rude, don’t acknowledge you when you come in. You ask them questions and don’t even make an effort to look for the products, they just ‘were out’, I say ‘but your sale just started 2 hours ago’, mgr says ‘we’re out’. Not ‘I’m sorry’ not try to offer other alternatives. They don’t seem to want business.

I purchased two candles on the last buy 2 get 2 sale (about 2 weeks ago from this review), after burning a candle for roughly 30 minutes, I capped it as I usually do. The next day when I tried to remove the cap, the cap was stuck. So, I went to the store last night (8/17) to exchange the candle and the store manager (Carson) refused to exchange it. She said it was my fault that I put the cap on too tight. She also informed me that their policy changed in September 2022, so they only accept new, or lightly used products. When I informed her that she could feel the heaviness in the jar and look up my receipt, she informed me that it was not their responsibility to to do anything with candle. I advised her that obviously the candle was dealing with a defect and she kept telling me no, contact Customer Service. I informed her that I would not, as their own policy has a 100% satisfaction guarantee that she was refusing to honor. When I asked her for her managers name and contact information, she also refused. She was rude, distasteful, and extremely unpleasant to work with. After expressing my dissatisfaction for 10 minutes, she finally decided to exchange the candle. This is the closest location to my home, so if BBW isn't offering free shipping, I will no longer support this business as I refuse to step foot back in this location. I spend close to $1,000 annually, so I'll gladly take my business elsewhere were appreciation and customer service exist!

2nd time placing an on-line order, both times I have had a bad experience. The first time, it took so long to be notified of pick up. I eventually went there to pick up the item. The next experience was, I placed an order on-line very early in the morning, after 8 hrs, I never received notification that my items were ready. I called to speak with the manager and was not treated satisfactorily regarding the situation. Customer satisfaction is not a priority at this store.
