I hate to say this, but they did seem like you were some type of thief or scumbag. I walked in to get rid of some stuff that I owned and was looked at like I just stole it all. Didn't let me hardly talk or show them, they said "sorry we don't take any of that" the other pawn shop went above and beyond to help me out. Action pawn is a good place to go. This pawn shop is good because they support law enforcement, I respect that like no other. But maybe some better customer service skills.

Members of my family and I have done business with this location many times. I've traded guns for other guns and purchased jewelry. My brother and cousin have bought guns and optics from them. All of us have been happy with the purchases. Prices are better than reasonable. What's more is the value they gave me for the guns I traded was so high I almost feel guilty.

I have been buying firearms for over 20 years in three different states so I’ve seen my share of shops. Ennis Pawn is without a doubt my favorite gun store ever. The guys there are knowledgeable and so incredibly helpful. The inventory is great and they are happy to order you anything they don’t have in stock. They have a great selection of new and used guns, more like a true gun store than a pawnshop. Their prices are reasonable and I’ve sold a couple guns to them and they gave me extremely fair prices without haggling. They even have a Silencer Shop kiosk to help you with NFA items. I’m a gun enthusiast and I don’t shop anywhere else at this point. I most definitely recommend you check them out if you live within a reasonable distance.

I recently bought my first ar15 rifle. The guy that helped me was more than willing to explain any question I may have had. Opposed to others i would ask at different locations. He made my buying experience a confident one. I recommend this place like crazy to anyone in search of a firearm and there prices are best around

I will never do business anywhere else!! The guys here are helpful, courteous, and go above and beyond to help. I have shopped here, pawned here, had guns transferred here, taken a concealed handgun class here, they have by far exceeded my expectations.

Great people, great service!David is a class act and great guy, I called looking for a specific gun and he thought he had it. When I got there he discovered he was mistaken and gave me a box of ammo to makeup for it. As of this review, he’s still looking for the gun I wanted. Super great experience although I didn’t get what I was looking for.If you’re in the market for a Glock in Ellis County, I highly recommend you make Ennis Pawn your first and only stop.
