The Ennis Municipal airport is a great airport located just west of the town of Ennis in a very nice setting right along a small lake and many houses just to the east. The airport has a skydiving operation that is usually busy on the weekends and also many Bonanzas on the main ramp. This is one of my favorite places to come for a quick flight and to practice instrument approaches. The town of Ennis itself is very unique and has many great places to grab a bite to eat.
