“They changed everything around in the store and I'm handicapped and it makes it very difficult to have to walk around and look for things! Also they have two or three registers and they only ever have one open in the lines are too long! I hate going to the Dollar Store. I must apologize to the Dollar General in Elm Mott. I thought I was reviewing the Dollar General in Lacy Lakeview on 77 and Craven. That store is a complete and total mess! So when you read this just realized I made a mistake in the locations of the stores and I hope this clear things up”
“I love coming to this place because I get good quality products that I don't get in other places. Cleanliness and order of the place is always important, but too much synthetic fragrance gives me headaches. It would be good to use essential oils or something more natural that doesn't bother me when shopping more slowly. I always go quickly because I can't stand the penetrating smell. Also, synthetic fragrances usually have toxins that are hormone disruptors.”

“As an (ex)Californian coming from an abundance of whole food/organic market options, Homestead Market is such a breath of fresh air in Waco where the options are few and far between for someone looking for healthier alternatives to the major grocery outlets. On top of their awesome 3rd party products, their Homestead branded items are not something to pass up on for anyone just visiting. They put so much love and care into everything they do, highly recommended!”
“This is the place to go if you want to experience the best fried short ribs in Texas. When I found out they was doing spicy fried ribs I fell even more in love with this spot. Mr. Mitchell had always been an inspiration to me, great man great business. Miss him much but I see the family holding his legacy strong.”
“It's small, crowded, and always busy. Parking has a lot to be desired. The cashiers are good people, fair, and upbeat. This store is popular due to its location and ease of in and out. Lots of business from south Waco. You'll like it here, it's kept clean as possible for a small space store. No attitudes from anyone (staff or customers) usually. Quality store, despite its appearance.The soda fountain is my only area of... wariness. Got a fountain drink from it only once because it tasted, well, really dirty. Other than that, it's a great little store. I always leave here happy.”
“The woman who answered the phone was so very kind and professional. I had called around to many place trying to hunt down a special item and had encountered a lot of rude people but this location is different they are very professional and talk to customers with respect. I drove 2 hours away to get the things I needed for my medically fragile child and these kind people made that possible. I cannot thank them enough.”

“It was my first time going, and it kind of surprised me. The produce is limited, but it's much better quality than the bigger stores. Some things are cheaper than other places and some are a little more expensive. I think it's a great option to shop for your groceries and not have to deal with the masses.”

“My only negative is so much is crammed into the store, but the staff l engaged with at the Dollar General on Franklin in Waco went OUT OF THEIR WAY to help me find what l came into the store to buy...even to the point of finding a cart for me to carry what l bought. Their attitudes were more than helpful, pleasent and courteous.I had no idea this was Dollar General...or at least at this location bc l had been to another location where l got the feeling l was almost an imposition. Here, they try harder...just as Avis car rental said they did years ago. I didn't feel like 'just' a customer!”
“I come in this Dollar General almost everyday for something. The staff is so friendly. Especially Ashley! She is always helpful when im looking for something. If they don't have it she helps me find something close to it!”
“Clean Store. Very nice employees, lot of different snacks and food to choose. The store has a kitchen with homemade food Monday-Friday until 4:00 ? I'm not sure on the open time to serve food. ? The main store is open everyday for buying groceries.”

“I am a chef and shop their daily. The staff is friendly and store is clean even In construction! They have hard to find fresh herbs. Please add more dry spices by the pound. “My car broke down in this area and the owner was very hospitable and generous enough to allow it to be parked there for several days until a wrecker could be afforded! They have everything you could want here, friendly staff, and there is also Grady's Grub food truck out back! Might I also add they do have all grades of Gas available! Stop By, grab some custom looking sun shades and a cool drink!”

She & her staff have stopped the shoplifters!!!!It's about time that Dollar General started taking back!!! “Nice and clean area shelves are clean and dusted they also have jewelry lottery and other recreational tools always open so it seems the gentleman that owns it is there 365 days a year and it's nice to see the owner light up when you walk in when he gets to know you”
“First visit since the most recent remodeling. Outside cart returns were much needed. More of a grocery store like feel, which is a plus. Makes finding what you're looking for better and checkout has improved as well. The self-checkout register only accepts card only, but subject to change at a later update. Overall, I'll continue to return. Keep up the good customer service. Thank you.”

“Elm Mott Grocery is great and has been for years. No problems ever, and friendly owners. Although I’m not sure if Sadiya’s corner store is the same owners (I couldn’t find on google). But I think if they spruce it up a little, make it feel more classy on that end. Make it feel like you’re in Vegas lol! Also a fun place”
