This is more about the chicken sandwhich they sell than their store. I dont know what that chicken sandwhich is made of but it is definitely not chicken. It is gross, rubber texture and no flavor. I high recommend against buying it, even if you are starving.

This is actually the first time I’ve had an issue like this at this QT. I usually stop by here with my kids and we’ve always been treated by very friendly staff. In fact, the cashier at the front was attentive and even asked if everything was all right. The problem was really just with the person making the sandwiches—his attitude and expression made it obvious he didn’t want to be there. If he really doesn’t want to work in a customer-facing job, maybe he should find something else that doesn’t involve dealing with customers.

The QT in Elgin, TX is excellent. Low gas prices, great breakfast tacos, wide assortment of beverages and clean store. The main thing is all the people working here are very helpful and friendly.

HUGE shout out to QT's employee JARED (and the honest person who turned in my husband's credit card that was accidentally left at the pump 2 days ago). Jared was so nice when I called to see if the card had been turned in. When I drove to Elgin to pick it up this morning I tried to give him a small reward, which he politely refused. QT, please do something nice for this young man! We always stop at this station when we pass through Elgin, and will continue to do so.

First time ordering food from here and my wrap is better than any other sub shop. The pulled pork mac&cheese is amazing as well. Definitely come back to order here.

So manager told me last month that they always try to keep gas prices equal to others in town. Right now they are THE HIGHEST in Elgin by 47 cents. QT $2.99. HEB and Walmart both $2.52. 7/11 is $2.59. Guess they have liquid Gold in these tanks. Guess management needs vacation money.

This location is an everyday stop for me. I love the gas prices and the service, but they need to do something about the hot dog buns. They used to be fresh, but lately they aren't even usable. They're so stale they fall apart when you try to open them.
Because of this, I'm about to find a new store.
