So disappointed, the vet refused to prescribe mental health medication for my dog who has been diagnosed with PTSD.
She refused to even hear me out, lady I know my dog better than you.
Her advise was to have my senior dog neuter lol yes that will make his nightmares go away.
No you never seen an PTSD episode !!
Never coming back and will tell family and friends to not come here.

Found a new vet for our fur babies. Their customer service here is exceptional & the care provided to our babies by the tech’s & vets was great as well. Would highly recommend Zarges animal clinic to anyone in need of a great vet with affordable rates.

Due to their misdiagnosis, our dog died. We went because of muscle pain and they didn't examine her properly or do the pertinent tests. They prescribed corticosteroids and it turns out that what he really had was an infection (which they did not check). As a result, he had seizures more than 9 times in two days. When we returned to them they said it would be better to take away the medicines and they gave her others and nothing for the seizures and she had seizures again... in the end she died completely in pain, blind and unable to move (when she only had mild muscle pain a few days before) due to their bad practice vet . Neither a relevant exam, nor a correct medicine, they did not receive a single call in the middle of my dog's crises, zero empathy... but they did charge more than a thousand dollars for worsening her state of health... in my experience they are not interested in the animal welfare, just collect money. Finally, we went to an emergency clinic where they confirmed to us that they should never have given him those medicines and there he died.

You do the Math.
We took our dog for pain management and two weeks after that she is dead.
She was not a spring chicken and had several ailments, but nothing life threatening… they ended giving her steroids for the pain. A week later we came back because she had a seizure, they checked and informed us that there was an infection (they did not do blood work before giving her steroids), they gave her medication for it but basically disregarded the seizure because it could be something not connected and just expressed that we could do a CT scan if we wanted (That is a $4.000 option). She had 10 seizures after that we came back and they gave her some anti convulsion medication even after we expressed all the symptoms (to long to enumerate) and expresses that we could go to a neurologist.
We did end up in an emergency clinic were there is a neurologist. One on the things they expressed is that before giving steroids they always have a bloodwork done because there could be infections. And that most likely the infection caused a seizure that gave her the first stroke. If they had done something there could be an option to save her but we got anti-seizure medication and simply waiting for her to pass.
We came in for pain medication, we ended up with a dead dog.

It was the first time taking my cat to this clinic and I was extremely happy with both Dr. Zarges and her staff. Everyone was very courteous, professional, and I felt like they really cared about my cat. The visit was also reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this vet.
Thank you!
