I have to say, I was pretty frustrated with this pharmacy experience. I am traveling from out of town and filled a prescription that would have been at a Walgreens elsewhere. After waiting, I spoke with pharmacy staff who said that their system was not set up to transfer prescriptions. This is a pretty essential daily medication, so I called another pharmacy down on Mesa. they were able to fulfill my prescription transfer without issue. I could be wrong, but I find it hard to believe that two pharmacy systems within the Walgreens corporation could be so different that one wouldn’t be able to accommodate the simple prescription transfer.

Poorly stocked store. It’s worth the 10min it’ll take driving to Sunland/Mesa or Doniphan/Mesa. Staff untrained and I’m pretty certain they’ve never heard of the phrase, “customer service.”

Rude and very pass aggressive management. I would not go to this location. Try another Walgreens. I haven't ever had an issue with pharmacy department. Just the regular workers and management.

Truly mediocre service. The pharmacy is sooo irritating. They will say your medications are ready , once you get there you maybe waiting longer. You call, they pick up and say hold on like 3 times. The employees are kind but the service and efficiency needs sooooooooo much work it’s astonishing

I was on the westside this morning, and I was out of face masks, and this Walgreens was the closest store in finding them. Although the store is extremely clean, and I was able to find the masks, I must add that the people who work there were rude! They do not greet with a smile, a nod, not anything! I asked a clerk where the face masks were, and she motioned me to follow her. She then grunted that the face masks were down the aisle. When I got in line, to pay, I was rushed through by another rude employee. I greeted him with a "good morning " and he did not answer. Fine. He was obviously in a rush. I paid him, and he handed me my bag. He did not say thank you either. I avoid Walgreens, but I did not have any face masks with me, and the masks help me tremendously with allergies as well as avoiding Covid.

I'm not sure if the staff even get trained here, but without fail, EVERYTIME I need to use this pharmacy, there's an issue. They'll tell you something will be ready in 30 minutes, it won't, not the same day or night. Maybe cancelled, may never have been ordered. Honestly, just go elsewhere.

Every. Single. Time. When I call the pharmacy, they put you on hold, over & over & over & over - never answering the phone - EVER - unless you call the store manager to complain with another phone while you're on hold.One time I drove down to this Walgreens while I was on hold for over 30min - not 1 person inside, not 1 person in line at the drive through. I politely confronted the man at the drive up window, & he stammered when he tried to find a reason why he couldn't stop putting me on hold. He had no reason. I've politely talked to the store manager several times. My husband has talked to the store manager several times. no change. Ive changed pharmacies, my relatives have changed pharmacies, my husband has changed to a different pharmacy location that is not convenient for him. I urge you to not use this pharmacy at 5900 North Mesa. They not only are they incompetent, they do not give a rat's azz how they treat you.

The store itself is fine but the pharmacy section is what drove me. As requested I showed up 15 minutes early to my Covid vaccination appointment. Ended up waiting in line for over 20 minutes PAST my scheduled time and they had about 10 workers in the back, not one of them came to assist in the front as the line was getting longer or even stopped by to say they’ll help out in a moment. After finally getting seen I was then told to wait an EXTRA 30 minutes which goes to almost an hour past my scheduled time. Do better with customer service because that’s where the slack is.

The absolute WORST pharmacy. I can never get ahold of some to talk to and 45 minutes - an hour being on hold just to be hung up on is ridiculous. And when I go in to the pharmacy to deal with it there is NEVER anyone in line inside or out and no is answering any phone. Unbelievably horrible service.

Walgreens pharmacy is just terrible customer service. Everything at Walgreens takes forever and they don't have any drive to work.
