I feel so blessed and privileged to have found Upack. My daughter was admitted to med school and needed to move from California to New Mexico. I researched many moving container and pod companies and even looked at the cost of renting a DYI truck (this is how I have moved my daughter in state for her Bachelors and Masters). Since this move would require a lot more time and more items being moved as well as my daughter's car being towed at the same time. I found it more affordable to rent the Upack container. I was nervous at first because I had never rented from Upack. Since this move would be over 1,100 miles, I needed help and peace of mind and my DYI truck rental would not do.
Upack was awesome. They communicated on regular basis with me from the moment I scheduled my appointment. I called them about 6 times before the container arrived at my home asking question, they were always polite and patient with me. Upack keep me informed through the entire process. I was called by a person on the day of drop off, I always spoke with people and not computers. I really appreciated that. Upack informed me about all the charges and honored the contract completely.
I 100% recommend Upack for your long distance moving needs. Thank you Upack you exceeding my expectations from the drop off to the day when I picked up all my daughters items.

They dropped the trailer off early, which was awesome; let me get a head start. The drivers at drop off and pick up were super polite. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because one half of the bulkhead to secure my belongings was broken. I called and informed the originating location in El Paso. That told me to secure it as best as I could, and they would install a new bulkhead in the freight yard. I also informed them the dimensions of the padlock the email told me to buy was too large to lock the bulkhead (even thought the circumference of the shackle was 1/2 of the max dimension the email listed) and he told me they would use their own seal after they install the new bulkhead so I could be certain no one messed with it. I called again the next morning, like I was instructed to do by the dispatch rep, to confirm pick up that day and to remind them of the bulkhead and seals, and they confirmed.
When the trailer showed up, it was the same exact broken bulkhead, including the ratchet strap I used to try and secure it as best as I could, and there were NO seals. Thankfully nothing was missing, but for a 1,800 mile trip and multiple stops, I would have *really* appreciated putting up a working bulkhead and using the seals like they said.

I have used U-pack before and it has always been a stress free, personable experience. They were in constant communication and even with several scheduling changes, they were able to accommodate/adapt to those changes. The move from North Carolina to New Mexico has been a smooth transition because of this company. Thanks U-Pack!

Excellent service for my Move from Orlando to El Paso at best market comptitive rates which no other company able to beat it PODS, UHAUL ZIPPY no one can match u-pack Relo cube. & Also the precise service they offered was absolutely fantastic.
Highly recommend.

I had a great experience with U-Pack! I paid $1200 to have a Relocube (a small container) shipped from Texas to California, and the entire process was a smooth one.

Very satisfied with this company. It was the cheapest service (by FAR) and the most convenient and professional. They showed up on time, the drivers were helpful and courteous, and everything went as planned. So convenient not having to drive a 10 ft truck across country by yourself (uhaul) and far cheaper than PODS. Highly recommended.

We are moving from Tucson to Washington DC area. Our total transit time was told to be 8 to 10 business days. Our belongings sat in Tucson at the freight yard for 7 days before finally moving along the 4 1/2 hours to El Paso. It has sat in the freight yard in El Paso for 4 days. Each day we have called and the local agent has said that the trailer is leaving that night at 7:30. Then next day we call and it’s the same song and dance. We are a military family who moves every few years. We’ve used UPack twice in the past with perfect moves. We’ve recommended them to friends as well. I don’t know if this is the new normal for UPack or just a fluke. We have 3 young kids who are asking when their toys and beds are arriving and we can’t give them a definitive answer.

Unpack moving services is the best of the best! Customer service is excellent with communication and responsiveness. Smooth delivery of relocubes. Delivered on time and picked up when planned. They were able to store our relocubes for us at terminal. They delivered them the exact day and time requested. Drivers were polite and answered all questions! Paperwork was given to me on drop off and pick up! Such a smooth and easy way to move!! Would highly suggest this company to all!

Deceptive customer service regarding pickup and drop-off dates/times. When I called to see what was going on with my order, they essentially shrugged and told me it wasn't their problem. This delay on their end will end up costing me a couple hundred dollars. I won't be using this service again.Service: Interstate moving

U Pack was a wonderful solution to a variety of moving dilemma. They gave actual quotes online, very clear with their fees. Their were several options which added to the flexibility. We got three days to load and unload. They arrived by the estimated date, without having a ridiculously long shipping window. Everyone I interacted with was professional, helpful, and friendly.

I cannot praise U-Pack too much! After hearing other people's horror stories of moving from one state to another, I was extremely wary of any company. U-Pack was recommended to me by a close friend who had used them for an in-state move and I decided to check them out. The online estimate process as well as the actual booking was a breeze with easy to navigate and complete. They also provided a worthwhile recommendation for my vehicle transport that proved to be excellent as well. From start to finish, the communication was superb and proved this company treats customer service as the top priority. The drivers were courteous at all times and gave appropriate and accurate time estimates at every stage of the move. Moving is, in my opinion, the closest thing to purgatory on earth and I certainly hope not to have to go through it again. However, if I ever do, I know that U-Pack would be the one place I can to make the experience as good as it could be.Service: Interstate moving

I wish I could give a zero stars rating to U-Pack. The only thing they managed to get right was dropping off trailer on time for picking up my possessions for moving. It all went downhill from there. Poor and confusing communications from U-Pack and the carrier, Old Dominion, with me made this move a nightmare. Upon arrival, the loading ramp was defective and the rear tires on the trailer were nearly bald. It is a miracle no possessions arrived at all. I would never use either U-Pack or Old Dominion again, nor would I encourage anyone else to use them.. To put it bluntly, they suck.

We used U-Pack in 2006, moving from Florida to New Mexico. Again last week from New Mexico to Missouri. Both moves went according to U-Pack's schedule. On both moves, the drivers were meticulous in dropping the trailer so those unloading it would have minimum difficulty getting goods out of the trailer into the house. While I see this as my last move, so too was the one before. Should I move again, it will be U-Pack hauling the goods.
